What Is Jock MKT?

The simplest way to outline this is daily fantasy sports meets the stock market. You’ll purchase shares of players for varying amounts, depending on how much others are willing to pay for them during the IPO. Once the Live Trading starts, you can buy players that others want to sell or sell your players during the game. Once all of the games have ended, you will receive money based on how well your player performs compared to the field on the Jock MKT app for this week.

Week 2 Results

Kyler Murray

Highest Potential Bid: $9.50

Break-Even Point: 14

Murray performed well last week, but he wasn’t able to find his ceiling against the Los Angeles Rams. He posted 24.62 fantasy. points, ranking 16th on the slate. He ended up being worth $8.50, losing $1 per share at our max bid.

Davante Adams

Highest Potential Bid: $9

Break-Even Point: 14

The Green Bay Packers cruised in a win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but Adams wasn’t able to find success in that game. He finished 61st on the slate, scoring 12.4 fantasy points. Ultimately, he would’ve lost $6.71 per share at our highest bid.

We’d have lost a total of $7.71 per equal shares of Murray and Adams in a. rough weekend. Luckily, they didn’t cost quite that much in the IPO, costing $8.56 and $7.80, respectively.

Week 5 Buys

Kyler Murray

Highest Potential Bid: $10

Break-Even Point: 12

If you’re new to Jock MKT, you may be struggling to read what’s listed below the Murray recommendations. Essentially, I’m willing to spend up to $10 per share for Murray. He needs to finish 12th in the field for me to make my money back with the opportunity for me to make more if he finishes higher.

For example, if I buy 1 share of Murray at $10 and he finishes 12th in this field, I make my $10 back. If he finishes 1st, I win $25 (profit $15). If he finishes last, I win $1 (lose $9). It’s that simple.

Wide receiver took over the market last week with Tyreek Hill, Deebo Samuel, D.J. Moore, and Terry McLaurin taking the top slots. With that being said, quarterbacks accounted for the remainder of the top-10. This is still a quarterbacks app with the potential for receivers to lead the slate, as well.

I’m going back to the well with Murray after he “disappointed” last week. Through 4 games, he’s posted 1,273 yards with 9 touchdowns and 4 interceptions on 134 pass attempts. He also boasts 109 yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground, as well. Murray boasts one of the best floor/ceiling combinations on the slate.

He gets an interesting matchup against the San Francisco 49ers this weekend. They’re allowing 218.3 pass yards per game with 7.5 adjusted yards per attempt this season. With that being said, several quarterbacks have found tremendous success against the 49ers this season.

The Arizona Cardinals are currently -4 point favorites in a game set at 49 points. They feature one of the highest implied team totals on the slate, and Murray will continue to be a massive part of their offense. He’s a safer option with tremendous upside, especially in this matchup.

Justin Jefferson

Highest Potential Bid: $7.50

Break-Even Point: 20

Jefferson’s performed well this season, although he hasn’t had a massive game yet. He’s recorded 26 receptions for 338 yards and 3 touchdowns on 37 targets through 4 games. Jefferson’s scored in each of his last 3 games, and he should’ve had a touchdown that wasn’t reviewed the first week, as well.

He gets an elite matchup against the Detroit Lions this weekend. They’ve given up the second-most air yards (755) in the NFL this season. Jefferson’s seen an 11.2 aDOT in 2021. More importantly, he’s recorded 41.6% of Minnesota’s air yards, giving him elite upside on this slate.

Jefferson’s been the focal point of the Vikings’ red zone passing attack this season. He’s turned a team-high 5 red zone targets into 4 receptions for 39 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also scored on his only target inside-the-10 in 2021.

Jefferson comes with tremendous upside in this particular matchup. The obvious concern is a blowout, but that’s somewhat built into his price tag. He isn’t likely to be as expensive as some of the other receivers on the slate, making him an elite buy this weekend.
