What Is Jock MKT?
The simplest way to outline this is daily fantasy sports meets the stock market. You’ll purchase shares of players for varying amounts, depending on how much others are willing to pay for them during the IPO. Once the Live Trading starts, you can buy players that others want to sell or sell your players during the game. Once all of the games have ended, you will receive money based on how well your player performs compared to the field on the Jock MKT app for this week.

Week 2 Buys
Lamar Jackson
Highest Potential Bid: $10
Break-Even Point: 12th
If you’re new to Jock MKT, you may be struggling to read what’s listed below the Jackson recommendations. Essentially, I’m willing to spend up to $10 per share for Jackson. He needs to finish 12th in the field for me to make my money back with the opportunity for me to make more if he finishes higher.
For example, if I buy 1 share of Jackson at $10 and he finishes 12th in this field, I make my $10 back. If he finishes 1st, I win $25 (profit $15). If he finishes last, I win $1 (lose $9). It’s that simple.
When deciding on who to bid on, I’m putting a premium on quarterbacks and wide receivers. In Week 1, quarterbacks occupied 5 of the top 7 slots, while quarterbacks and wide receivers filled out the top-10. I’m also looking at the added safety of rushing quarterbacks, as they have multiple ways to score fantasy points. This is a simple situation where I’m looking to grab the highest floor and ceiling combination that I can.
The Baltimore Ravens offense runs completely through Jackson, meaning he’ll be involved regardless of whether they are winning or losing this game. He threw the ball 30 times last week while recording a team-high 12 carries. Ultimately, he posted 235 yards and 1 touchdown through the air with 86 yards on the ground.
The Ravens are coming off of a disappointing loss against the Las Vegas Raiders, and they get a matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs in primetime this weekend. The Chiefs’ defense looked far from dominant against the Cleveland Browns last week, although they were without a few starters. Regardless, of how well Kansas City performed defensively, Jackson is an electric player that will produce. He’s a way to limit your risk while boasting the potential to lead the slate in scoring. He’s my top option while Baltimore tries to find their offensive identity.
Josh Allen
Highest Potential Bid: $9.50
Break-Even Point: 13th
I have Allen slightly behind Jackson on this slate, although he could go completely overlooked because of the matchup. The Miami Dolphins feature one of the better defenses in the NFL, although Allen’s found plenty of success against them in the past.
Last season, he recorded 415 yards and 4 touchdowns on 35 pass attempts, adding 19 yards on the ground. He then needed only 55% of the snaps to post 224 yards and 3 touchdowns in the final week of the season.
One of the biggest keys in this game is that Miami loves playing man defense. Stefon Diggs is at his best against man, giving Allen an elite target along with his other weapons. Furthermore, quarterbacks generally have more running lanes against man coverage, as they can sit and peak in the backfield.
Allen saw nearly 40% of the team’s carries in their first game this week, and he could see similar opportunities this season. He boasts the ability to lead any slate in fantasy points, and this is a sneaky good matchup for his style. Still, Allen could go overlooked because of the perceived difficult matchup, giving up an edge in the IPO.
