What Is Jock MKT?

The simplest way to outline this is daily fantasy sports meets the stock market. You’ll purchase shares of players for varying amounts, depending on how much others are willing to pay for them during the IPO. Once the Live Trading starts, you can buy players that others want to sell or sell your players during the game. Once all of the games have ended, you will receive money based on how well your player performs compared to the field on the Jock MKT app for this week.

Week 14 Results

CeeDee Lamb

Highest Potential Bid: $6.00

Break-Even Point: 28

Lamb looked decent last week, posting 7 receptions for 61 yards on 10 targets. He added 15 rushing yards as well. Overall, Lamb finished 46th on the slate, and he ended up being worth $3.60 per share. We’d have lost $2.40 per share at his max bid.

Jarvis Landry

Highest Potential Bid: $4.25

Break-Even Point: 40

Landry wasn’t overly dominant against the Baltimore Ravens last week, but he did find the end zone. He recorded 5 receptions for 41 yards and 1 touchdown on 8 targets. Landry ended the slate ranked 43rd, and he was worth $3.90 per share. Ultimately, we’d have lost $0.35 per share of Landry.

It was a rough week for this article, as Lamb and Landry would’ve combined to be worth $7.50. They would’ve cost $10.25 at our max bid, though. Luckily, Landry only cost $3.88 in the IPO, while Lamb sat at $5.98, lessening the amount lost on each equal share.

Week 15 Buys

Diontae Johnson

Highest Potential Bid: $6.50

Break-Even Point: 25

If you’re new to Jock MKT, you may be struggling to read what’s listed below the Johnson recommendations. Essentially, I’m willing to spend up to $6.50 per share for Johnson. He needs to finish 25th in the field for me to make my money back with the opportunity for me to make more if he finishes higher.

For example, if I buy 1 share of Johnson at $6.50 and he finishes 25th in this field, I make my $6.50 back. If he finishes 1st, I win $25 (profit $18.50). If he finishes last, I win $1 (lose $5.50). It’s that simple.

Johnson’s enjoyed another outstanding season for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2021. Through 12 games, he’s recorded 81 receptions for 990 yards and 6 touchdowns on 130 targets. Johnson’s posted double-digit fantasy points in every game this season. He’s also posted 26+ fantasy points in 2 of his last 4 games.

Johnson gets a great matchup against the Tennesee Titans this week. They’re allowing 250.7 passing yards per game and 6.7 adjusted yards per attempt this season. Tennessee’s given up 20 passing touchdowns with a 4% passing touchdown rate in 2021 as well.

The Titans have struggled a bit with air yards and yards after the catch this season. They’ve given up 1,845 air yards and 1,588 yards after thus catch thus far. Overall, Tennessee’s given up the 11th-most airYAC (3,433) in the NFL this season.

Johnson’s seen a team-high 34.1% of Pittsburgh’s air yards in 2021. He’s seen 1,183 air yards with a 9.1 aDOT through 12 games. Johnson’s also averaging 5.6 yards after the catch per reception in 2021. He’s a versatile receiver who can find success in several ways against Tennessee this weekend.

Johnson’s the clear-cut WR1 for Pittsburgh, who loves throwing the ball. He’s seeing double-digit targets on a weekly basis, and Johnson’s been as consistent of a wide receiver as there has been in the NFL. He also boasts the potential to lead the slate in scoring, making him a great option in the market.

Brandon Aiyuk

Highest Potential Bid: $4.50

Break-Even Point: 38

Aiyuk’s seen mixed results throughout the 2021 season. He’s posted 41 receptions for 549 yards and 4 touchdowns on 64 targets through 13 games. Aiyuk struggled early in the season, but he’s been heating up in recent weeks. He’s posted 10+ fantasy points in 5 of his last 7 games, including a 21.5 fantasy point performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Aiyuk gets an interesting matchup against the Atlant Falcons in Week 15. They’re allowing 247.5 passing yards per game and 7.5 adjusted yards per attempt this season. Most importantly, Atlanta’s given up 26 passing touchdowns with a 5.6% passing touchdown rate in 2021.

The Falcons have been an average team in terms of air yards and yards after the catch this season. Overall, they’ve given up 3,320 airYAC, which ranks 17th in the NFL. They’ve also given up nearly the same amount of air yards and YAC thus far.

Aiyuk’s quietly seen 19.9% of San Francisco’s air yards this season. He’s recorded 602 air yards with a 9.4 aDOT thus far. Aiyuk’s also looked elite with the ball in his hands, averaging 5.7 yards after the catch per reception. This sits well above the 3.6 expected yards after the catch per reception via NFL Next Gen Stats.

After being in the doghouse early this season, Aiyuk’s taking on a larger role. Eli Mitchell’s already been ruled out, meaning San Francisco could rely on their passing attack more this weekend. Atlanta’s struggled to consistently produce a pass rush in 2021, and Aiyuk comes with tremendous upside in this particular matchup.
