I love this spot for Vlad tonight, matched up with his former teammate Robbie Ray. Ray has been much better as of late, but still is allowing homeruns at a well above-average rate. Vlad owns a huge .257 ISO vs left-handed pitching since the start of last season, and has been seeing the ball well as of late. Ray’s most used pitch to righties is his fastball, a pitch that Vlad crushes. Since getting the call to the big leagues, he owns a massive .547 wOBA and .528 ISO against heaters. He has some of the highest upside on tonight’s slate.
