Smith and the Dodgers are in a great spot tonight against Jose Suarez. Smith has quietly been one of the best hitters in baseball against left-handed pitching this season sporting a .410 wOBA and a .233 ISO. Suarez has been beat up by righties in recent years, and is allowing a .351 wOBA this season. Los Angeles has one of the bigger team totals on the board tonight at five runs and they are one of the highest upside spots on Saturday night. I don’t typically target players priced this high up the ranking, but Smith has slate-breaking power and can easily finish as the number one overall player tonight.
