The simplest way to outline this is daily fantasy sports meets the stock market. Once the Live Trading starts, you can buy players that others want to sell or sell your players during the game. Yordan Alvarez, Houston Astros

We have another big Friday slate, with the Dodgers in Coors Field dominating the attention. They once again have a seven run team total, and everyone will be vying for a piece of their lineup tonight. Despite the massive total there, I’m going to be targeting Yordan Alavarez who is way too far down in the pre-ranking. Alvarez has as much upside as anyone in Coors Field due to his raw power, and likely won’t be a huge target tonight in a lefty/lefty match-up. Alvarez has actually feasted on left-handed pitching in his career and his power has not wavered in the split. Robbie Ray is obviously better vs lefties than he is righties, but he’s still allowing a .226 ISO to left-handed hitters this season. He relies heavily on his fastball, and Alvarez is a dominant fastball hitter. Over the last three seasons, he owns a .410 wOBA and .323 ISO against the pitch. This is a great match-up and I think he has a strong chance at a big fantasy outing on Friday night.
