Slate Thoughts:
The big matchup today is going to be FNC vs G2. This matchup should be one with a lot of kills. The winner of this matchup will likely be at the top of leaderboards. FNC was able to upset G2 in their last matchup, but this has been a matchup that G2 has historically dominated. I expect G2 to come out and win today. I expect FNC to pick up heavier ownership than G2 due to their low cost and the fact that they beat G2 last time, however I will be rolling with the Kings of the LEC today and expect them to finish with over 20 kills in a dominant performance vs FNC.
Rogue come in to this matchup vs. Astralis as huge favorites, and should be a team you look to target in cash games. They lead the LEC in GD@15 min and have the be best early game rating in the LEC. The thing with Rogue is that they are not a team that average a lot of kills, but Astrailis does die a lot in losses, so their is some upside here. Rogue does rank higher than Astralis in just about every statistical category making them a strong play in cash games.
Finally the team I am going to live and die by today is S04. They have absolutely burned me time and time again. They have lost 5 straight and look to be heading in the wrong direction. On the otherside we get a Misfits team who has won two of their last 4 matches. I completely understand if you want to go the Misfits route, because I can definitely see them winning this match. Misfits do lead S04 in GPM, GD @15, HER% and DRA%, so everything points to a MSF win here, but I’m going with my gut here and saying S04 pulls it out.
