Jaime’s EPL Week 18 DraftKings GPP Punts and Pivots

Today we have a nice 7 game slate. Unfortunately Man City is back on the slate and should draw the majority of ownership since they are gigantic favorites and Kun Aguero has over a 70 percent chance of getting a goal. We will need to get creative in GPP because a full fade of Manchester City could be a death wish but I am willing to do it in at least one line with so many pivots and options on this slate. Chelsea, West Ham and Manchester United should do well also. Here are my picks for this week.

Forward

Top: Raheem Sterling $10,300

Sergio Aguero $9,800 and Leroy Sane $8,800 will probably be more chalk than Sterling and all three have around the same odds to score. Leroy Sane has been amazing the past few games which will keep some ownership away from Sterling who could easily get a brace in this spot at the lowest ownership of the three. If I am going to pay up at forward it will probably be Sterling but I am not sure yet which way I am going there just yet.

Mid: Danny Ings $7,400

The price jumped up due to the fact he scored a brace last week against Arsenal. His floor has been surprisingly safe scoring over 5 points in his last 5 starts including 3 goals and everyone knows I love to attack the leaky Huddersfield defense. Should be under 10 percent owned and I love the play. Also considering Rondon 7,800 who has been playing great and on the other side of this game is Mitrovic $7,100 in a revenge game against Newcastle.

Value: Demarai Gray $3,700

This is a guy who will get you 3-5 points and has the upside for more. The matchup is not good against Chelsea but for that price you do not need him to do much to reach value.

Midfielders

Top: Eden Hazard $10,600

With everyone paying up for Man City Hazard will be ignored. He has scored 22, 17, 18 and 19 points in his last four games and he gets a Leicester team that has given up goals in each of their last three games.

Mid: Paul Pogba $7,400

FREE POGBA!. With Mourinho gone Pogba should slide right back into the starting lineup and he should smash against this Cardiff team. Cardiff gave up three goals to a mediocre Watford team and Manchester United will come out guns blazing and put on a show. Pogba is one of the top players in the world and he has a lot to prove. Love him in this spot and as of now is my favorite play in the entire slate as long as he does start. I am not opposed to playing Pogba along with Robert Snodgrass $7,800 who is at home against Watford and has been one of the hottest players in the league assisting or scoring in each of the last 4 games.

Value: Juninho Bacuna $3,600

Pretty much the lock of the slate taking sets for Huddersfield for almost min price. Bacuna scored 13 points last game taking 9 crosses. He also allows you to pay up for a few studs. Lock him in and move on.

Defense

Top: Matt Targett $5,500

My favorite expensive defender on the slate going up against Huddersfield. Targett has scored 11, 8, 15 and 14 in his last four while taking 34 crosses. Great floor big upside and has a really good chance at a clean sheet. He is in my main lineup as of now.

Mid: Diogo Dalot $4,400

Projected to start at full back for a team I expect to dominate tomorrow and his log is ugly enough to scare people away. I like the play but will probably pay up for Targett and play the value play underneath this.

Value: Fabian Delph $3,800

Manchester City is a gigantic favorite and Delph is playing full back for under 4k. The price makes no sense. He is a lock as long as he starts.

Goalkeeper

Alex McCarthy $4,900

I love the spot here for Southampton and McCarthy has win and clean sheet upside here. He should be challenged enough by Huddersfield to rack up some saves and post a really good score. He has allowed 6 goals in his last three games and has finished with 4-5 points in all those games. I really think he gets us the 10 from clean sheet and win and a few more points from saves. If you want to live on the wild side lock in whoever Palace ends up starting at goalie. He will more than likely give up 3-4 goals but should get enough saves to reach value and maybe more.

As always if you have any questions feel free to send me a message on discord or on twitter. I can’t wait to see all the screenshots after we dominate this week! Enjoy the slate and make sure to tune in to our slack when lineups come out since we usually drop a play or two in there as well.
