Our DK streak is finally over. After a hot 5-0 start we took our first L (even though we bubbled on some double ups, I still consider it an L) on draftkings, but we took a big W on Fanduel, bringing our season total to 5-1 on each site. Absolute fire.
Another 7 game slate with an absolutely amazing game on Liverpool v Chelsea (must watch TV). Unfortunately we get another Man City slate and they are huge -1100+ favorites as of now. They are expected for almost four goals. With Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal, Tottenham playing, there are some good teams that we can target for some very good leverage. I believe that Fulham and Wolves could be great GPP stacks.
Now onto the hat trick:
Forward
Top: Another week with a bunch of studs. I can’t blame you for wanting to play any of them, especially with the discount on Hazard and Salah. But my top option for this week is Aguero $10,300. This is definitely not a hot take, but Aguero is in the best match up possible. We have said this before but I believe Aguero gets at least 2 goals this game.
Mid: Our boy Gylfi $7,800 is back in the main slate. He has been very stead and provides us with a great floor. Sooner or later his ceiling game will come and he will definitely be in my lineup. If you want a pivot from his chalk-ownership, his teammate Richarlisson $8,100 has been really good all season. Other pivots that I will have exposure to are Jimenez and Mitrovic.
Value: Not a crazy value play but with Erikssen expected to miss this game, Lamela $6,400 becomes very viable and maybe optimal. If you want a real crazy value play, Sessegnon is only $4,900.
Midfielder
Top: There are not many expensive midfield only this week. The most expensive midfielder this week I will consider is Maddison for $8,000 but I don’t think he is optimal. Moura at $7,300 can be a great play with Eriksen out.
Mid: Moutinho at $6,300 is one of my favorite plays on the slate. I am not sure if I am playing him since I might need more value at midfielder but he is a solid play. Milner at only $6,000 is another solid play versus a tough Chelsea matchup.
Value: There are some very solid value midfield plays this week. My two favorite are Seri $5,200 and Xhaka $4,500. I will be having at least one of them and maybe both in my optimal build.
Defense
Top: Trippier $6,400. Click on his name and move on. If you want a high priced option not named Trippier, Trent Alexander Arnold for $6,100 (but just find the extra 300 for Trippier).
I purposely left last Hat-Trick’s top play to prove a point. Trippier is just a must have every time Tottenham is on the main slate. Now with the added bonus that Eriksen is out Trippier should be 100% owned. If you are looking for a pivot for GPP’s, we get a nice discount on Trent Alexander Arnold at $5,400.
Mid: This week we get a nice discount on Holebas at $5,300. While he has not been the amazing play he was last season, he still has a solid floor and very high ceiling.
Value: Another great point from last week: “How good and valuable are the Huddersfield fullbacks? Lowe had 16 crosses last week and he is only $4,100.” This week I am going right back to the well even though it is a very tough match up. Lowe is $3,900 and Haderj $3,700. Both are in very strong consideration. Also on the value section both Southampton fullbacks are very cheap, Soares is $4,200 and Bertrand $4,100. Lowe is still my top defender and quite possibly a lock on my optimal.
Goalkeepers
Top: You know how I always talk crap about goalkeepers? This might be a week where we have some very solid goalkeeper options, very off brand. At the top my favorite play is Gazzaniga $5,600. P.s, shoutout to FanDueLOL for not having him available for this slate even though he started last week. That is just great.
Mid: In the middle of the value, I really like Alisson for $4,900. He is usually a 6k goalkeeper but thanks to the tough match up versus Chelsea we get a nice 1k discount. While the match up is tough, Liverpool is an amazing team and they are elite when it comes to defending. I believe that Alisson could get the win and cleansheet bonus with a good amount of saves.
Value: My favorite value play is Foster for only $3,800. I know he is an underdog against Arsenal but Arsenal hasn’t shown the potential to score a bunch of goals. I am hoping PEA stays cold and Foster has a bunch of saves. He could be an optimal play.
Betting
This week I have a CRAZY parlay that I am playing one unit on. I also have couple of variations of that Parlay that should provide safety. If you are playing the crazy parlay I suggest to play the other safer ones as well.
