Welcome! I loved having EPL in the middle of the week. If you followed my notes on Twitter you probably found your way to the green side. Week 16 is going to be interesting. We have some really good matchups especially Manchester City against Chelsea. Another interesting twist in the slate is that DK has six games and FD has seven. Since I usually play more on DK this article will be mostly DK centric but the plays can be applied to FanDuel as well.
There is no side that I want to ‘stack.’ If we just look at Vegas, we will definitely be all over Arsenal but I think that one piece of that team is enough to cover our bases. The Chelsea v City game will be massively underowned and you can have a big edge by attacking that game.

Forward
Top
The play of the slate is Aubameyang for $9,300. Arsenal is the biggest favorite in the slate and Aub has almost a 70% goal scoring odds. I believe he will be the most popular player in the forward area.
Mid
Whenever two top 6 teams play we usually get a discount on the top plays. This week Eden Hazard is only $8,500. While he has not been as electric this season, he is still one of the top players in the world. Manchester City is probably the best team in the world but they do allow offensive production to other teams.
Value
With Arnautovic out, someone from West Ham is going to be a great play. I think it depends on the starting XI but I don’t mind Antonio or even Lucas Perez. Also, I am totally bias but Chicharito is going to score tomorrow, GPP only.
Midfielders
Top
The most expensive M/F this week is Mahrez for $9,100. If Man City was coming out with the same XI as they did midweek I will totally love him. However; he is not guaranteed to start, and it is not a guaranteed he starts in the top 3. Other expensive options that I like are Pogba for 7,800 and Johan Berg Gudmundsson for $8,000.
Mid
“Andros Townsend averages 9.1 DK points this season and he has 1 goal and 0 assists. Those are incredible numbers for only $6,800 we are basically guaranteed 1.5x.” RT last week’s hat trick. He is up to $7,500 this week but he just continues to have an amazing floor. He has a decent matchup against West Ham even though it is away. Please note that if he is not starting, Meyers becomes the lock of the slate.
Value
Raise your hand if you rostered Ralls midweek? I sure did. And I saw he grabbed the ball to shoot the PK and I felt like I was walking on the clouds. I thought I was going to run to the bank to cash my checks from so much money I was going to make and….he misses the PK. Well, I must love suffering because I am going right back to the well. Please don’t finish with -2 again.
Defense
Top
Lock of the slate: Ashley Young. Click. Move on.
Mid
In the middle we find the Arsenal fullbacks, and the Huddersfields fullbacks. I am totally indifferent about all these players. I would just rather pay down for the key of the slate.
Value
The key of the slate is most definitely Calum Chambers for only $3,300. He is listed as a defender but he has been playing as a midfielder. He will stay busy all day long and he will rack up defensive peripherals.
Goalkeepers
Leno is the most expensive GK in the slate for $5,900 but I really doubt I will be paying so much for him. If I am paying up for GK I will rather play De Gea for $5,800.
GK is tough this week. In the middle we have someone like Hennessey for $4,500 but he is away and I don’t love targeting West Ham.
If you need the savings and want a flyer I can see why you would pay $3,600 for Lossl. Huddersfield will park the bus and hopefully Arsenal misses a lot of shots.
Betting
