Hello everyone! I missed you all! I was still connected through Twitter, but due to Holidays and international breaks it feels like I have not pumped out a Hat Trick in forever!
For this Saturday we get another Man City slate…. *insert the most sarcastic YAY! ever*. And, obviously, they are the biggest favorite of the slate. They are such a big dog that there is not even a ML available right now. The o/u for that game is 4 goals and Bournemouth is implied for .74 goals… meaning City is supposed to score AT LEAST 3 goals. Sorry for that random mumble but it is very important to try to figure out how much City you want. The answer should be, how many can you afford???
I think this is a week where we pay for a bunch of Man City and then find value everywhere else.

Top
At an incredible $11,200 price tag comes Aguero. With the implied goals, he might be a must play. The only concern I have with him is that He is about 20% likely he plays the full match. He has a 75% chance of scoring at least one goal. Fade at your own risk.
Mid
Johann Berg Gudmundsson $7,500 might become a lock if Brady is out. I made the mistake of fading him last week and he came back to burn me. I am ok with him if Brady is out, but he becomes a must play if he is out.
Value
Continuing with the “this is a difficult slate,” there are not many value options that I love. We are going to have to find some value somewhere if we want to fit a bunch of Man City. At $5.700 we have Success who will probably give us 5-6 points with the potential of a goal.
Midfielders
Top
With KDB still sidelined, Mahrez at $9,100 is my favorite midfielder. My favorite not Man City midfielder is Maddison for $8,700.
Mid
Andros Townsend averages 9.1 DK points this season and he has 1 goal and 0 assists. Those are incredible numbers for only $6,800 we are basically guaranteed 1.5x.
Value
PLEASE Ki Sung-Yueng start tomorrow. He is only $3,800 and he might be the cheat code to let us fit multiple Man City pieces. There might be other value midfielders opening up tomorrow, please tune into our LIVE Twitch to check if there are other value midfielders I love.
Defense
Top
The top play is definitely Holebas for $6,500. However; I am not sure if this is the slate we pay up at defender. If you are going balanced approach, you need to start with Holebas and build from there.
Mid
We were gifted Matt Targett last week and he showed up big time for the squad. He got a huge price bump all the way to $5,000 but he is still in big consideration if he is starting.
Value
Even the Man City fullbacks are incredibly expensive this week. This might be the week where you just punt one defender position to afford more Man City. My favorite punt defender, if he starts, is Tarkowski $3,300. He has two goals on the season, and who knows, he might score….or give you a zero but at least Man City gave you 5 goals.
Goalkeepers
You want cheap exposure to Manchester City? Ederson is $6,000!!!! I don’t see how I am able to fit Ederson but his clean sheet and win bonus are basically a lock and those points are almost equal to a goal. Would you pay 6k for a forward if he was guaranteed a goal?
David De Gea is only $5,200 against a weak Southampton team. If you want to go cheap I would look into Joe Hart for only $4,000.
Betting
