Frosty’s 10/06/2018 EPL Hat Trick
It feels like the season is flying by! We finally get a slate with no Manchester City, but with the dynamic pricing is still going to be fairly tough to build a cash line…which I love!
The highest favorite this week is Tottenham (-442) against Cardiff City who has not shown up well during their first year in EPL. The second highest favorite is Man U -242, but we have no idea what is going on with that team. I am personally fading all of Man U. Now onto the hat trick:
Forward:
Top: Harry Kane $11,100 is the most expensive player in the slate but he is totally worth it. It seems like Kane is finally done with the World Cup hangover and he is heating up! Not only is he scoring, but he looks more comfortable and taking a few more shots per game.
Mid: I could easily write Sigurdsson in here again, but Johann Berg Gudmundsson is the top play at this position. At $9,100 I prefer him to any other player. Lamela, I have my eye on you.
Value: This is extremely interesting. Adama Traore $5,600 is expected to start for Wolverhampton tomorrow. While he hasn’t play 90 minutes on an EPL match, his per/90 stats are off the charts. It should be a very competitive game and Traore should have enough chances to rack up peripherals.
Midfielder
Top: Maddison $8,500 continues to be a lock play in every slate. His price is creeping up to dangerous territory but his floor is just ridiculous. He leads the EPL in points (not counting goal/assists) and he gets a solid matchup against Everton. I believe he will be fairly popular.
Mid: Mooy $5,100 is a solid floor play. He is not sexy at all and he probably won’t get you double digit points, but he will give you a solid 7-10 points. He almost scored the goal of the year against Tottenham and I believe this is a matchup where he could get his first goal or assist of the season.
Value: Speaking about unsexy floor plays, Shelvey at only $3,700 is an absolute steal if you want to fit Kane and another stud. He is in the later game, and not guaranteed to start so there is always a risk there.
Defense:
Top: DraftKings finally had enough of a free square at defense on Tripper and made him $7,400! WOW! That is a steep price to pay if you are trying to play Kane. If you are fading Kane, I think it is an absolute must that you pay for Trippier. You want Tottenham exposure. However; for 600 less I prefer Holebas.
Mid: Our boy Chris Lowe $4,300 price keep going up, and up and up. Man did we buy into that stock early. The Huddersfield fullbacks continue to rack up points and even though his price is up I am still in love with him.
Value: If you are trying to punt defense, I will look into Keane from Everton. I don’t love him on DK as much as I love him on FD but he is an ok punt. Should be busy enough to get some points from defensive peripherals.
Goalkeepers:
Top: For my top DraftKings goalkeeper I have Lloris for $6,000. If you play FanDueLOL just play Lloris at 4k, I have no idea what they were thinking.
Mid: In the middle we get a bunch of goalkeepers that all are the same basically. All the games are supposed to be lower scoring and I will consider Foster as a solid option.
Value: This might be the lock at goalkeeper and I am scared that I am not scared at all about talking him up. Dubravka is only $3,800 against a struggling Manchester United team. While I don’t expect a win and cleansheet, his save upside is enough to make him an awesome play at such a low price.
