It’s Tuesday and 22 teams are skating on tonight’s NHL schedule. This makes me happy. Since winning makes everyone happy, let’s find some value to help build winning dfs lineups.

Offense:
Ilya Mikheyev ($3200-DK, $3800-FD) has 18 points in his last 23 games, and has shown steady shot volume. I like playing skaters not afraid to put pucks on net, and Mikheyev has launched 14 shots in his last four contests. The Leafs are a heavy favorite, and this projects to be a high scoring game for Toronto against Buffalo’s 27th-ranked defense versus wingers.

Antoine Roussel VAN ($3400-DK, $3200-FD) has played the last six games since coming back from off-season knee surgery well enough to skate on the top scoring line with Boeser and Horvat. Roussel has four points and taken 12 shots in that span, and gets a home match up with the Canadians’ 26th-ranked defense against wingers.
Valentin Zykov VGK ($2900-DK, $3000-FD) is coming off his best game of the season with a power-play goal on five shots. He will be at home facing Minnesota’s mid-pack defense against wingers and very generous penalty kill.
Also consider: Filip Zadina DET ($3200-DK, $5500-FD)
Defense:
Erik Cernak TB ($3000-DK, $3700-FD) has three points and has taken 15 shots in his last six games. Cernak only logged less that 17 minutes of ice time in one of those games. Tampa Bay is the biggest favorite on tonight’s schedule, and visiting Ottawa ranks 28th against opposing blueliners.
Marc-Edouard Vlasic SJ ($2700-DK, $3800-FD) has blocked 11 shots in his last three games. Vlasic scored 14.7 fantasy points on DK last game, and is available today for $300 less. Let’s take advantage of this discount tonight as the visiting Coyotes rank 22nd against opposing d-men.
Goaltenders:
Tristan Jarry PIT ($7600-DK, $8300-FD) has picked up eight wins in his last 10 appearances. Jarry looks to be the Pens #1 option in goal, getting his sixth December starts to only one for Matt Murray. Jarry owns a 1.78 GAA and a .937 SV% this season.
Darcy Kuemper ARI ($7500-DK only) has three straight road wins, and has only given up more than two goals one time in his last six starts. Kuemper has a 2.00 GAA and a .935 SV% to date. (At the time of this writing, Kuemper was not yet confirmed to start.)
