There are only 5 games on the NHL docket tonight. Instead of giving you 8-10 total value plays, let’s take a look at each game and find some value based on the projected outcome.

New Jersey@Buffalo- projected total: 6 goals. Buffalo is a -133 favorite to win at home.
W-Nikita Gusev NJ ($4000 DK, $3900 FD) get top unit PP time for Devils. Has taken 25 shots in last seven games.
D-Henri Jokiharju BUF ($2500 DK, $3500 FD) plays on Sabres’ #1 power play unit. Averaging over a shot plus a block per game for near minimum price.
Vegas@N.Y. Rangers- projected total: 6 goals. Vegas is a -130 road favorite.
W-Alex Tuch VGK ($3600 DK, $4300 FD) gets top-unit PP time, and is coming off best game of season with a goal on four shots against Arizona three days ago.
D-Adam Fox NYR ($3900 DK, $4400 FD) directs the Rangers’ 2nd-unit power play, and has five points and 20 shots in his last six games.
N.Y. Islanders@Detroit- projected total: 5-6 goals. NY Islanders are the biggest favorite tonight at -205.
G-Semyon Varlamov ($7800 FD only) only has three losses in regulation out of his 13 appearances. Varlamov has a great chance to pick up a win against the Red Wings’ last-ranked offense … only averaging just over two goals/game.
ST. Louis@Chicago- projected total: 6 goals. ST. Louis is a -132 road favorite.
W-Nathan Walker STL ($2700 DK, $3000 FD) found the back of the net on three shots in his last game versus Pittsburgh three days ago, and is skating on the Blues top line for a tiny price tag.
G-Jake Allen STL ($7800-both sites) has allowed two goals or fewer in three of his last four, and Chicago ranks in the bottom third of the league in goals scored per game.
Los Angeles@Anaheim- projected total: 5-6 goals. Anaheim is a -135 favorite to win at home.
D-Hampus Lindholm ANH ($3400 DK, $3900 FD) sees 2nd-unit power play time, and has lanched 14 shots and blocked 15 more in his last 10 games.
***With the instability of a small slate, I’m playing half the volume as I normally would. Even a small NHL schedule can provide excellent action on the ice. Good luck today!
