What’s up Karma Nation!
We are finally back with an eight game slate tonight. I am here to give you guys my favorite plays of the night, along with my top stacks! Let’s get a W tonight!
Centers
Jared McCann- This play seems so obvious to me. Pens are in a great spot tonight vs the Jets who are without there number 1 & 3 defensemen. He’s a lock for on DK. He can hit value in shots alone.
Connor McDavid– Mcjesus is just a plain stud. I love this game tonight. This game should be up tempo and McDavid just came off a dream DFS game. I think he’s a great play to pair with McCann in cash.
Sean Monahan- Okay, we went this route last week in cash and was right. I love Monahan on FD tonight. The Monahan line will face the Kempe line who got torched by McDavid’s line the other night. The Flames look even better this season then last.
Sidney Crosby- No Malkin tonight so it’s Sid the kid vs the depleted Jets team. The Pens may score 5 plus goals tonight. I love the Pens in cash games and gpps.
Value Plays to consider in cash or as fill ins:
Kyle Turris- DK only.
Dylan Larkin– Under priced on DK.
Adrian Kempe- Getting some power play time.
Wingers
Alex Ovechkin– Here’s a DK only play for me. Ovi is much cheaper over there and has a ton of upside at this price. The shot volume on DK is so important and Ovi won’t let you down in that department. He’s a close lock for me in cash games.
Elias Lindholm- His price doesn’t change and he’s been on fire. Like I said I love the Flames tonight and Lindholm tonight. Elias also skates on the top line and also top power play unit.
Anthony Mantha– This dude has been on fire. His price is starting to go up, but I still love him in cash games. Mantha has been the Wings best player so far this season and he also gets top power play exposure.
Jake Guentzel- Another Pens player, Jake is now skating on the Pens top power play with Malkin out. I think Guentzel gets the biggest boost while Malkin is sidelined.
Evgenii Dadonov- FD only play for me. He’s very unpriced over there. Top line and top power play for the Panthers.
Ondrej Kase– Currently leading all players in of – Corsi, very cheap on DK. I don’t mind him in cash games.
Max Pacioretty- I have no idea what DK is doing with his price tag. He’s a lock for me.Vegas has looked great to start the season. Until he becomes over 6k,he’s a lock for me.
Filip Forsberg- The most important player on his team. He’s been shooting the puck a ton and his line has been on fire. He’s leading his team in scoring chances.
Zach Kassian- I don’t love him, but gets you McDavid exposure. He’s cheap enough to use a filler. I like James Neal more on both sites. Neal gets top power play time with McDavid and is a better hockey player then Kassian.
Defense
Justin Schultz- He’s a lock for me on both sites. Don’t over think this guys. Top line, top power play on a team with a high total. LOCK!
Ville Heinola- With everyone hurt on the Jets, Ville will see a huge boost tonight in minutes. I don’t mind pairing him with Schultz tonight on DK.
Oscar Klefbom- Oscar has looked great to start the season. This will also get you McDavid exposure. FD only play for me today. Oscar also skates on the top power play unit.
Roman Josi- Josi is my top spend up play on D today. The do it all man, Josi skates on the top line and runs the power play. He’s underpriced on FD.
Mark Giordano- Again I love the Flames today. Gio had a great game the other night and runs the top power play. The shot volume is there and he’s not afraid to block shots. Great GPP stack.
Goalies
Matt Murray- Huge favorite today, and last game the Pens left him out to dry. I think the shot volume is there and he should be in line for the win.
John Gibson– Gibson is a great GPP play today. I even like him in cash a little. John is much better then the numbers say and the Ducks should be trying to play a little slower today. Shot volume is there as well.
David Rittich– East cash game play on FD, The shot volume scares me a tad for DK. Should be in line for the win. He looked great in his first start the other night.
