Hey guys, Happy New Year! We have a nice 12 game slate on tap tonight, I am here to breakdown my top plays of the night. Let’s get this W!
Center
Nathan MacKinnon- Once again the Avs are in a smash spot tonight. Mack gets a Rangers team is hasn’t been able to stop anyone on the blue line. Last night Mack didn’t have a point and still put up 13 fantasy points, his line looked very good and I expect them to find the scorers sheet tonight. He’s a DK lock for me.
Nicklas Backstrom- My favorite line of the night is Washington 1, if you can’t afford OVI tonight I don’t mind Backstrom at all. I will do my best to get OVI in my cash line.
Brayden Point- This is a simple Lock on DK for me, Point is only 5,900 on a team with a 4 goal total. Point is finally starting to heat up with three points in his last three games. BTW he is skating with Stammer and Kucherov tonight.
Sean Monahan– He has been Flames second best player all season. The Hawks are beat up badly on the blue line which makes Monahan a good play tonight.
Max Domi- Montreal gets to face the Wings tonight and Domi is only $5,200 on DK. This is a laughable price really, Max had a nice steak going until last game, I fully expect him to get back on track. The Red Wings just got back from a moms road trip.

Alex Ovechkin- Like I said this is my favorite line of the night. Ovi shoots the puck at a high volume and the Caps have a 4.2 goal total tonight. I don’t really a reason to fade him at all. He will exceed value with ease tonight.
David Pastrnak– Pasta is riding a crazy point streak and the Preds just fired there coach. I won’t say this is a smash spot but you have to like his chances tonight. Boston has the best line in hockey and the Preds will be without Ellis tonight as well. Sneaky good gpp play on fan duel.
Kucherov/Stamkos– Roll the dice and pick one LOL, for me i’ll be playing Point instead to get OVI in my line. If I had to pick one tonight it would Stamkos but it’s a hard choice.
Mark Stone- The Stone line has been best line for Vegas as of late. I like his price on both sites tonight.. Stone is also getting time on the power play.
Andrei Svechnikov– The Canes are playing Philly at home and they draw Elliot in net tonight. Yum Yum for sure, I will do my best to fit him in my cash line on both sites. I think the Canes will exceed there goal total with ease. He is also riding a point streak as well.
Evgenii Dadonov- This isn’t the best match up on paper but Daddy is skating on the top line one again and has been on fire as of late. Dadonov will also earn time on the power play which is a bonus.

Dougie Hamilton- The best overall play of the night on D tonight. Dougie shoots the puck at well and runs the power play for the Canes. I will not be fading him on Fan Duel tonight. This is a dream match up for him.
Victor Hedman- If you need to save some salary at D tonight, Hedman is my guy. I love the Bolts and the fact that Hedman is now skating full time with Stammer. More GPP for me.
Mike Matheson– My favorite punt of the night is Matheson. He is min price on DK and has been smashing value as of late. He will be my other D man on DraftKings.
Adam Boqvist – With the Hawks blue line all beat up,in steps Boqvist. I like this play on both sites, Boqvist is now skating heavy minutes and earning time on the power play. I like him as my second D-man on Fan Duel

IIya Samsonov– He has been the Caps best goalie this season. At home vs the Sens not much more is needed to be said. Lock for on Fan Duel.
Marc Andre Fleury – Vegas is at home tonight and they are tough to be beat there. Pitt is still without Sid the Kid and traveling to the west coast. I love this play for gpps. The shot volume will be there.
Andrei Vasilevskiy- Vas looked amazing vs the Canes in his last start. I love this play on DK for cash. The shot volume will be there and I think the Bolts win this game. Great FD GPP play.
