Let’s see if we can keep the good times rolling with my PGA Tour Top DFS Plays.
AC and I finished with another strong week with our Core Plays as we have been on fire the past two weeks.
And my suggestions in my weekly story was pretty toasty, too. Ten of the 11 golfers mentioned in my story made the cut, including the winner Austin Eckroat.
Now we have another elevated event (UGH!) for the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge course (par 72, 7,466 yards).
There are only 69 golfers in the field and there will be a cut at Top 50 players and ties and any golfer within 10 strokes of the leader.

Onto PGA Tour Top DFS Plays for the Arnold Palmer Invitational:
10K and Above
Scottie Scheffler ($11,300)
All the roster steam is heading to Scheffler among the 10K range golfers. He may be on 30 percent or more of the rosters for the event.
Scheffler does have the stats to back it up the roster numbers. He is currently the best in SG: tee to green and SG: approach and is in the Top 20 of 5 other categories this week on my spreadsheet.
Rory McIlroy ($10,600) is the course horse this week. He has finished T13 or better in his last five tournaments at Bay Hill.
9K and Above
Xander Schauffele ($9,800)
Schauffele enters the week in the Top 20 in seven of my 11 categories.
He is currently ranked in the Top 21 in six categories on Tour – SG: tee to green, off the tee, approach, around the green, approach from 200-plus yards, bogey avoidance and par-5 scoring.
He is fifth among the 10K and 9K golfers in rosters numbers, making a good pivot off Scheffler and McIlroy.
8K and Above
Will Zalatoris ($8,900)
I personally thought Willy Z. was in trouble at the beginning of the season with his 132nd-place finish at the Sony Open.
But he bounced back nicely.
He has gradually improved his game in each event, finishing T2 at The Genesis Invitational.
Zalatoris’ elite approach play and strong par-5 scoring should have him contending as one of my Top DFS Plays.
7K and Above
Jake Knapp ($7,600)
I believe Knapp Time will have another strong week.
Knapp won the Mexico Open and followed it up with a T4 at the Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches.
It is his elite approach play and strong SG: tee to green that make him a possible contender for a third straight week.
Punt Plays
Austin Eckroat ($6,900) is the only 6K golfer to be ranked in my spreadsheet’s Top 10. He cruised to the Cognizant Classic win on Monday. Erik Van Rooyen ($6,600) and Lucas Glover ($6,300) were the only other 6K golfers to sneak into the Top 25 on my spreadsheet.
