Scottie Scheffler is head and shoulders above the rest of the golf world and was a big help for Top DFS Plays.
He pulled away on his final 9 holes to pick up his second Masters victory and Green Jacket.
Scheffler allowed me to have a survivable week in DFS after the carnage during the early rounds at Augusta.
The PGA Tour heads to Harbour Town Golf Links (par 71, 7,121 yards) for this week for the RBC Heritage.
The tournament is another elevated no-cut event for the 69 golfers in the field.
Matt Fitzpatrick is the defending champion.
The tree-lined course of Harbour Town requires accurate drives and precision approach play into greens that average of 3,700 square feet. Augusta National’s greens measured an average of 6,435 square feet.

Onto my Top DFS Plays for the RBC Heritage:
10K & Above
Xander Schauffele ($10,800)
Yes, Scheffler ($13,300) is at the top of my spreadsheet again this week, but we are a week closer to the arrival of baby Scheffler. Plus, Schauffele’s price makes him more manageable in making lineups.
But Schauffele was the betting darling last week before the beginning of the Masters. And he never really contended.
I’m going back to him for his high ranking on my spreadsheet and the “we were one-week early” on his win mantra.
Ludvig Aberg ($10,400) is another solid option in the 10K range, but his SG: around the green may limit some of his upside.
Patrick Cantlay ($10,200) is the course horse for Harbour Town. He has three Top 3 finishes in his last four starts at the RBC Heritage.
9K & Above
Max Homa ($9,700)
Homa ranks just in my spreadsheet’s Top 25 at 25 as I really don’t like this range this week.
My spreadsheet has Wyndham Clark ($9,200) ranked as the highest 9K golfer, but his accuracy off the tee gives me some hesitation of playing him in more than one lineup.
8K & Above
Tony Finau ($8,600)
This range has a nice sweet spot for me this week for my Top DFS Plays.
Despite an awful weekend at the Masters, Finau checks all the boxes this week to find success.
He’s a Top 11 golfer on Tour in four categories I used this week, including a 7th in SG: approach and 8th in par-5 scoring.
Cam Young ($8,700) may be known as a bomber. But his elite approach game and surprisingly accuracy off tee give him a shot to gain his first Tour victory this week.
7K & Above
Akshay Bhatia ($7,700)
Bhatia did not embarrass himself during his first trip to Augusta. He safely made the cut at +3 and finished weekend with a T35.
Coming into this week, it’s more than his elite approach game that makes him a solid play. Bhatia ranked in the Top 30 on Tour in seven categories I used this week.
My only concern is this will be his sixth straight week of playing an event.
Punt Plays
Lucas Glover ($6,800) cracked my spreadsheet’s Top 10 this week. Erik Van Rooyen ($6,700) and Austin Eckroat ($6,400) are part of a group of four who are ranked in my Top 25. Glover and Eckroat are in the Top 5 for the best values this week in our site’s Projections Portal, which is part of our monthly package.
