Underdog Fantasy is the biggest and best Best ball platform, with thousands of users and massive cash tournaments for you to take advantage of. Best ball is the easiest way to play fantasy football. All you have to do is draft your team and Underdog Fantasy will do the rest for you. They’ll set your optimal lineup each week based on who on your roster scores the most points, meaning you’ll never have to fret start/sit decisions early Sunday morning ever again. The most proven way to win these large tournaments is called “stacking”. Stacking is when you draft multiple players from the same offense. The philosophy behind this is if that offense “hits” and has a great offensive year, then your team will reap the benefits of having every piece of a productive offense and you should outscore your opponents who did not stack.
This series of articles will identify the most undervalued offenses to stack that are currently being under drafted on Underdog Fantasy and could potentially win you some money in season-long tournament play.
Miami Dolphins
I get it. The Miami Dolphins are not a “sexy” offense to draft, but we’re not here to draft the offenses everyone else is already on in Best Ball Mania II. We’re looking for values and non-consensus offenses to stack that has a low roster %, meaning fewer entries have this offense on their roster. The Miami Dolphins offense is exactly what you’re looking for if you want a quick, easy, and undervalued stack in best ball for the 2021 season. There are three players on the Dolphins I’m making sure I come out of my drafts within Best Ball.
Tua Tagovailoa, Quarterback – To put it lightly, Tagovailoa did not look like a good starting quarterback during his limited action as a starter in the 2020 NFL season. Reports came out that he didn’t know the playbook and struggled mightily picking up the NFL game his rookie season. However, with a full off-season under his belt and a much-improved supporting cast on offense, I fully expect “Tua Time” to take a step forward in his sophomore season. The Dolphins went out and signed deep threat wide receiver Will Fuller in Free Agency and drafted Alabama wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, a player also known for their straight-line speed. The investment in offensive weapons around Tagovailoa shows that the Dolphins organization believes he has what it takes to be an effective NFL quarterback. With an ADP of QB18 and 149.0 overall on Underdog Fantasy ADP, Tagovailoa has the chance to finish as a back-end QB1 at a QB2 valuation.
Myles Gaskin, Running Back – Myles Gaskin finished as the RB25 in half-PPR formats in the 2020 season, without having the full-time starting role for a good portion of the year. He is currently being drafted as the RB24 and has an ADP of 67.2 over on Underdog Fantasy. Drafting Gaskin at the RB24 is drafting him at his floor and not his ceiling, which is what you’re looking for when identifying value offenses. Gaskin survived the Dolphins adding significant options in the running back room to compete for touches in both the NFL Draft and Free Agency. It’s apparent that he’ll be the main back this season and you should be snapping him up at his current RB2 ADP.
Jaylen Waddle, Wide Receiver – In case you haven’t heard, both Devante Parker and Preston Williams have already been played on the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list and are currently missing training camp. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Will Fuller is already dealing with an injury. What does this mean? This means Jaylen Waddle is a screaming value at his current ADP of WR49 and 96.3 overall on Underdog Fantasy. Waddle has a collegiate connection with Tagovailoa and has reportedly been showing off that connection early in camp with some splash plays. Waddle could very well be the Chase Claypool of the 2021 NFL Draft Class. He’s that good.
