The Cheap Seats – NFL DFS Week 5

It was decent week for The Cheap Seats in Week 4.

I finally broke through with a fire emoji with Pittsburgh tight end Pat Freiermuth. He finished with 16.7 DraftKings points in the loss to Indianapolis.

The Steelers’ Najee Harris had the opportunities to have a big game, but Harris (10.3 DK points) continues to prove he needs volume to be a DFS success.

Washington’s Noah Brown saw looks early but only finished with 5.6 DK points. This was despite the Commanders scoring 42 points.

It’s getting close to be a big week for The Cheap Seats.

Onto this week’s The Cheap Seats plays!

Running Back

Austin Ekeler, Washington ($5,600)

This play is on the speculation that Brian Robinson Jr. misses Sunday’s game vs. Cleveland.

Robinson Jr. returned to practice as a limited participant on Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday with a knee issue.

If Robinson misses the game, Ekeler walks into a nice role in the Commanders’ explosive offense. Robinson Jr. has had at least 15 touches in each game this season.

And even if Robinson Jr. plays, Ekeler has a big split role in the backfield. He had 13.7 DK points before leaving with a concussion vs. Cincinnati.

Currently, Ekeler is expected to carry a rostered number in the sub-5 percent range.

Wide Receiver

Keon Coleman, Buffalo ($4,700)

Coleman steps into the lead role of the Bills’ wide receiving corps with Khalil Shakir missing the Houston game with an ankle injury.

The thing with Coleman is he’s getting the snap volume. He’s led the Buffalo WRs, playing the most snaps in 3 of 4 games.

However, his target share has been low. Coleman has only seen 11 targets on the season, but his role may expand in a competitive game vs. the Texans.

Tight End

Erick All Jr., Cincinnati ($2,700)

All Jr. has quietly put together three good games in a row as he has 4 receptions on 4 targets in the each of the last three games for the Bengals.

Plus, All Jr. led the Cincinnati TEs with a 60 percent snap share last week.

Time may come quickly where All Jr. is handling the majority (maybe this week) of the Bengals TE receiving work.

DK by the Numbers

Week 4

RB: Najee Harris 10.3

WR: Noah Brown 5.6

TE: Pat Freiermuth 16.7
