Well, that was an awful way to start The Cheap Seats!
All three of my suggestions last week failed to score even 5 points. The only benefit was their cheap salaries. Let’s not do that again for a while!
This week may be a little clearer as several key injuries are providing us with great options.
As of Friday afternoon, San Francisco’s Christian McCaffrey and Minnesota’s Jordan Addison are out, while Cincinnati’s Tee Higgins is expected to miss as well.
Those receiving questionable tags are Seattle’s Kenneth Walker III and Pittsburgh’s Russell Wilson.

Onto this week’s The Cheap Seats plays!
Running Back
Jordan Mason, San Francisco ($5,200)
I know this was an easy one this week but we cannot use the free square Mason is this week in at least all cash lineups.
Mason touched the ball 29 times in Monday night’s win against the NY Jets.
He finished with 152 yards of total offense and one touchdown. He handled every one of the 49ers’ rushing attempts except two, and one was Brandon Allen’s kneel-down at the end of game.
I would expect another strong workload vs. Minnesota, but may be not the 29-touch kind of workload.
Wide Receiver
DeMarcus Robinson, LA Rams ($4,000)
The Rams have several free squares this week with Puka Nacua going on the four-week IR with a knee injury.
I know Tyler Johnson ($3,300) is cheaper, but I think Robinson has a safer floor.
Robinson had 4 catches for 42 yards on 7 targets last week, and I expect more of the same we saw last season in Weeks 13-17.
He finished as a Top 30 WR in all five of those weeks last season. He averaged more than 15 DraftKings points a game during that stretch, which saw both Nacua and Cooper Kupp in the starting lineup.
Tight End
Colby Parkinson, LA Rams ($3,100)
And, again, I’m going back to the Rams.
Parkinson played the fourth most snaps (69) among LA’s receiving options vs. Detroit. However, he only had a 7.2 target share with those snaps.
But it only takes is a couple of catches and a TD for Parkinson to have a fire emoji beside his name at his price.
Cash stacks may be ugly this week with a whole lot of Rams in them.
