The Cheap Seats – NFL DFS Week 12

Last week gave us a glimpse of a high-scoring week for The Cheap Seats.

Now this week may deliver for us.

To recap Week 11 – Jameis Winston had a nice week with 29.6 DraftKings points as he throw for 395 yards and 2 TDs.

However, Rhamondre Stevenson and Calvin Austin III were disappointing.

Stevenson had a work’s man-type day with 73 rushing yards and 4 catches for only 19 yards. A touchdown would have been nice.

Austin III had an ugly game including having one ball hit off his facemask on a possible big play.

But we still have several more weeks to play, including my favorite week of the year – Thanksgiving week.

Let’s into this week’s The Cheap Seats!

Quarterback

Tommy DeVito, NY Giants ($4,000)

The fantasy gods have given us two good options at QB this week as Devito and San Francisco’s Brandon Allen ($4,000) are Cheap options.

I’m going with DeVito because of his running ability.

He rushed for 17 yards or more in 4 of his 7 seven starts last season.

Plus, he gets to play against the Tampa Bay pass defense at Met Life Stadium. The Buccaneers have given up the most pass yards on the road this season at 320.8.

It’s money, money time!

Running Back

Brian Robinson Jr., Washington ($5,600)

I believe they mispriced Robinson Jr. this week.

But he just returned from injury last week and still had 16 rushes with 63 yards and a TD.

Now the Commanders face Dallas dreadful run defense. Dallas has given up 151 rushing yards a game this season.

Houston’s Joe Mixon chopped up the Cowboys with 109 rushing yards and 3 TDs last week.

Robinson Jr. should eat as well.

Tight End

Luke Schoonmaker, Dallas ($2,500)

Thanks to the Cowboys playing in the Monday Night game, Schoonmaker’s salary was released before Jake Ferguson suffered a concussion in the contest.

Schoonmaker comes into the week at the TE min salary and he’s proven he can handle the starting role.

He had 6 catches for 43 yards in a start earlier in the season and he had 6 catches for 56 yards after Ferguson left Monday’s game.

The Commanders are giving up 6.6 targets and 0.5 TDs a game to TEs this season.

Schoonmaker should see a nice workload in game the Cowboys should be trailing.

DK by the Numbers

Week 11

RB: Jameis Winston 29.6.

WR: Rhamondre Stevenson 12.9.

TE: Calvin Austin III 0.9.
