NFL Week 4 Best Bets to Make

Bet on MyBookie

Cincinnati Bengals (+200)/Atlanta Falcons (-250)

The Cincinnati Bengals are an offense that seemingly never gets respect. They are averaging 29.7 points per game this season, though. Atlanta has also found plenty of offensive success this season, as they are averaging 34.0 points per game at home. Overall, these two teams have totaled less than 52 points in only one of six games this season. The Cincinnati and Atlanta defenses are also allowing a total of 54.0 points per game this season. This game also sets up perfectly for scoring, as Matt Ryan has been at his best in Atlanta, while Andy Dalton has been his best on the road. These defenses simply do not have the ability to slow down the opposing offense, and Atlanta should be involved in another shootout this week. There has also been quite a bit of movement on the over in this game, and it wouldn’t be shocking if it continues to move.

Bet 4 units on Cincinnati/Atlanta OVER 52 to win 3.5 units (-115)

Detroit Lions (+130)

This game seems too perfect for the Detroit Lions. They’re coming off a major win on Sunday Night Football against the New England Patriots, while the Dallas Cowboys struggled against a weak Seattle Seahawks team. Since the New York Jets announced that they knew Detroit’s plays, the Lions have scored 27 and 26 points. Most importantly, Kerryon Johnson ran for 100 yards last week, flashing some much needed balance in the Lions offense. This is extremely important because the Cowboys are expected to be without Sean Lee, who is the leader of their defense. If the Lions can control the ball this week, they should have a clear-cut advantage. Overall, Detroit simply has far too many offensive weapons for Dallas to compete with. It’s a bit odd that the Cowboys are favorited by this much.

Bet 2 units on Detroit ML to win 2.6 units (+130)

Cleveland Browns (+120)

I may be buying a bit too much into Baker Mayfield, but I’m all in on the fun. He led a comeback against the New York Jets in his first game, completing 17 or 23 passing, while also suffering from drops. He has proven to be an electric player, while the Cleveland Browns have proven to have an elite offense. They have held the Pittsburgh Steelers, New Orleans Saints, and New York Jets to 21 or fewer points in their first three games. Each of those teams rank in the top-10 of the NFL in points per game, as well. The Oakland Raiders have not found as much success, as they are only averaging 17.3 points per game this season. I expect Mayfield to bring more energy and success to the offense, adding to an already dominant defense.

Bet 2 units on Cleveland ML to win 2.4 units (+120)
