QUARTERBACKS:
Tom Brady- $6,500 at Pittsburgh:
Last week, I mentioned that you would not find a cheaper price on Tom Brady all season long. That proved true as his price moved up $200 this week. I still love this price tag on Brady, as the Buccaneers take on a Steelers defense surrendering plenty of points in the passing game.
Kirk Cousins- $6,400 at Miami:
I like Kirk Cousins once again this week. The Miami/Minnesota game has plenty of appeal as long as there is competent QB play under center for the Dolphins.
PJ Walker- $5,500 at Los Angeles Rams:
PJ Walker will be in line to start for the Carolina Panthers in Week 6. Walker brings mobility and much-needed playmaking ability to the Panthers’ offense.
RUNNING BACKS:
Kenneth Walker III- $5,000 vs. Arizona:
Kenneth Walker III has the Seattle backfield all to himself this week. Walker is a talented natural runner who gets an opportunity to show his abilities in Seattle in a shoot-out atmosphere.
Eno Benjamin- $4,400 at Seattle:
If James Conner misses time, Eno Benjamin is a sneaky play as a runner and receiver out of the backfield. The Cardinals’ offense had more juice, with Benjamin leading the backfield on Sunday.
Rachaad White- $4,500 at Pittsburgh:
Rachaad White becomes a more important part of the Tampa Bay offense with every passing week. White is a terrific pass-catcher out of the backfield, and in a game where I expect the Buccaneers have a healthy lead, White receives more work as a traditional running back in this one.
Travis Etienne- $4,900 at Indianapolis:
Travis Etienne looked as explosive as he ever has as a professional last week against the Texans. The ebb and flow of the Jaguars’ backfield are tough to predict, but at $4,900–it is worth the gamble that Etienne has earned additional touches against Indianapolis.
WIDE RECEIVERS:
George Pickens- $4,600 vs. Tampa Bay:
I am sticking with George Pickens again this week. It’s clear that Kenny Pickett favors the rookie receiver, challenging defenses down the field. The George Pickens breakout game is coming–it is not a matter of ‘if’ but ‘when.’
Devin Duvernay- $4,800 at New York Giants:
Keep an eye on the injury to Rashod Bateman. Injuries to the foot are not always easily predictable. In Bateman’s absence, the Ravens featured Devin Duvernay down the field in the passing game. Duvernay is a steal at $4,800 if Rashod Bateman is inactive against the New York Giants.
Khalil Shakir- $4,100 at Kansas City:
Khalil Shakir is again in play if Isaiah McKenzie can not go.
Mecole Hardman- $4,400 vs. Buffalo:
In the Bills/Chiefs shoot-out, we will want pieces of both offenses. Mecole Hardman is nursing a sore heal. As long as he is active, fire him up at $4,400.
Rondale Moore- $4,400 at Seattle:
Seattle/Arizona is another game where we will want pieces of the respective offenses. Rondale Moore’s role in the offense has increased over the last several weeks. Expect Moore’s best performance of 2022 on Sunday against the Seahawks.
TIGHT ENDS:
Taysom Hill- $4,300 vs. Cincinnati:
We can’t ignore the potential upside of Taysom Hill at $4,300. It does feel like you’re chasing points, but getting a few shares allows you to sleep well at night.
Irv Smith Jr.- $4,300 at Miami:
Minnesota/Miami could be the sneak shoot-out of the weekend. Irv Smith Jr. could elevate his role to the #2 pass-catcher for the Vikings. At $4,300, Irv Smith Jr. is worth the gamble.
