NFL DFS Week 5– Top SuperDraft GPP Plays

What is up Karma Nation! I will be diving into SuperDraft today. If you haven’t signed up yet, make sure to use PROMO CODE: KARMA for a massive deposit bonus! We recently partnered with SuperDraft, if you haven’t heard of them it is a relatively new site, which does not have a salary cap. The way you separate yourself from the field is by multipliers. Each individual player has a multiplier by his name. The guys who are projected to score less have a higher multiplier, while the fantasy stars either have no multiplier or barely any. This adds a lot of thought to your DFS lines, since you can fit anyone you want. Make sure to sign up for our NFL Core Plays package to gain access to our Cores and Prop plays!

I will be breaking down my top ceiling plays for tomorrow’s slate. There are so many different ways to play SuperDraft we can see a lot of spread out ownership which makes this site amazing.

Quarterback

Teddy Bridgewater 1.7x:

Bridgewater has had his ups and downs this season, but seems to be hitting full stride as he is getting his first season as a true starter in years. There isn’t much value tonight. Teddy is standing out to me the most at 1.7x. Our Projections Portal has him projected for 20.64 fantasy points, which ranks 8th best of the slate. With the 1.7x multiplier he will be projected for 35 fantasy points. This is the best value on the slate and can lead to one of the highest ceilings on the slate. The Falcons are allowing the second most passing yards. They are only behind the Seahawks who are breaking records because their defense is so bad. He has had his ups and downs this season, with two games above 20 fantasy points and two games below 15 fantasy points. With the loss of Christian McCaffrey, the Panthers haven’t looked much on the ground to generate the offense. Even though they have won both games without CMC, Davis is only averaging 14.5 carries per game. So, the offense is looking to grow around Bridgewater and the passing game.

Running Back

Mike Davis 1.45x:

Mike Davis is filling in for CMC very nicely and has looked like he has learned a lot from him. Davis has picked up the where McCaffrey has left off. He has excelled him his pass catching duties. Hauling in 13 out of 15 targets over the last two weeks. This ranks third in the league for running backs of that time. With his -1.2 aDOT he doesn’t really have a ton of yards, only 72 in two games averaging 5.5 yards a catch. He is also leading the league in red zone targets with six. He ranks 8th in the league in red zone carries with eight, including two inside the 5. Davis’ combination of red zone work and target share has led to him being one of the best in season picks in fantasy leagues in a while and continues to shine in DFS formats as sites refuse to price him where he should be. He is 9th in the league with 23.1 fantasy points over the last two weeks. Davis is also 9th among all running backs with 0.59 points per snap and 18th with 1.10 points per touch.

Wide Receiver

Robby Anderson 1.5x:

Anderson has looked more like the number one option on the Panthers this year. Outside the game against the Chargers he has three games of 99+ receiving yards and two games of double-digit targets. Anderson is looking to build onto his amazing resume tomorrow as the Falcons struggle giving up the second most passing yards in the league. Robby Anderson is one of the best deep ball receivers in the league and that is one of the areas ATL has struggled with this season. I know I have a lot of Panthers players but they are way too underpriced. You can run it back on the other side of the field with Ridley.

Tight End

Darren Waller 1.2x:

Waller has had an amazing start to the season. He bounced back from a tough game against the Patriots to put up 9 catches on 12 targets for 88 yards. Three of those targets were in the red zone too, which increases his ceiling the more red zone targets he receives. He also continues to lead his team in air yards each and every week. Waller faces a great matchup against the Chiefs who continue to struggle vs TEs. The Raiders are going to have to find a way to stay in this game, outside of the running game, Waller is the only real productive player on this team.
