NFL DFS – Bales’ Favorite StatHero Stack for Week 15

The most important note for StatHero is their scoring system. It’s different from what you’re likely used to, and we need to note what the most important aspects are. Quarterbacks are far and away the most important position, specifically passing yards. They get 0.05 fantasy points for every 1 passing yard compared to only 0.1 fantasy points per 1 rushing or receiving yard. For instance, a quarterback would receive 15 fantasy points for 300 yards passing. He would need 3.75 passing touchdowns to reach that. Running backs and receivers would need 1,50 yards to hit that number. They would need 2.5 touchdowns to score 15 fantasy points.

Tight ends are another major part of their scoring. They will receive 1.5 fantasy points per reception while running backs and wide receivers only receive 1 fantasy point per reception. With StatHero’s current scoring system, it could be a key to stack a team with a dominant quarterback and tight end pairing to go along with the other options on the offense.

The final scoring that could make or break your lineup is the distance bonus. Quarterbacks receive a slightly smaller bonus for long passing touchdowns, while running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends get a bit more of a bonus for touchdowns. Ultimately, you want touchdowns to come from 10+ yards out, which is the distance the bonus’ starts at.

Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers/Aaron Jones/Davante Adams

Rodgers continues to enjoy an elite season for the Green Bay Packers. Through 13 games, he’s thrown for 3,685 yards and 39 touchdowns with 4 interceptions on 448 pass attempts. He boasts an elite 8.7% touchdown rate with a 0.9% interception rate, throwing for 3+ touchdowns in 7 of his last 8 games. Rodgers gets an interesting matchup against the Carolina Panthers. Carolina is allowing 250.8 passing yards per game and 7.6 adjusted yards per attempt in 2020. They’ve given up 23 passing touchdowns this season, as well. The Packers are 8.5 point favorites in a game set 51 points, giving them one of the highest implied team totals on the slate at 29.8 points.

Jones’ dealt with injuries this season, playing 49% of the offensive snaps for Green Bay thus far. He owns 823 yards and 9 touchdowns on 160 carries through 11 games. He’s posted 38 receptions for 285 yards and 2 touchdowns on 51 targets, as well. Jones is a focal point of Green Bay’s red zone offense, posting 87 yards and 5 touchdowns on a team-high 29 carries. He’s turned 10 red zone targets into 5 receptions for 21 yards and 2 touchdowns, as well. Carolina’s allowing 113.6 rushing yards per game and 4.4 yards per carry this season. They’ve given up 14 rushing touchdowns in 13 games, as well. Jones is one of the focal points of Green Bay’s offense, making him an easy stacking option.

Adams is arguably the best receiver in the NFL, producing while playing only 72% of the snaps in 11 games this season. He’s recorded 91 receptions for 1,144 yards and 14 touchdowns on 121 targets. He’s scored 12 touchdowns over his last 8 games. He’s turned a league-high 23 red zone targets into 18 receptions for 100 yards and 10 touchdowns. Adams has seen 1,162 air yards with a 9.6 aDOT this season. He’s accounted for 32.3% of Green Bay’s air yards. He’s the most consistent receiver in the NFL, and also boasts elite upside. Similar to Jones, he’s the other focal point of the offense, and Adams is a must-start in a Packers stack.
