Duke Johnson gets the start at running back this week with David Johnson out with a concussion. If you remember, he was traded to the Texans from the Browns back in 2019. With revenge in mind, Johnson will want to put up a big performance against his former team. Another thing working in his favor is the weather. Steady winds are expected to be around 25 mph, with gusts in the 50 mph range. This will limit the deep passing game, and a lot of dump offs to him can be expected. The Texans do not have much depth at the running back position. Last week, he was in on 81% of the snaps in the three quarters after David Johnson was injured, and went on to rack up 17.3 fantasy points. The usage rate for Johnson should be high, whether they are winning or losing. The free NFL Projection Portal on dfskarma.com is projecting Duke Johnson at 15.06 fantasy points.
