High-Tier
Taylor Cornelius, QB, Oklahoma State ($8,600)
Now obviously Will Grier is a great play any time he’s on the slate and in the game that is set to be the highest OU of the day, but why pay up for Grier when we have a QB in Cornelius who has quietly been putting up big games for far cheaper. Since the bye week for OKST Cornelius has been in some close games where he has had to do more to keep OKST in the game. In last weeks loss he threw for over 500 yards and three TD so we know he is not afraid to air it out especially to keep this team in the game. We all know how WVU is a talented team on offense and middle of the pack on the defensive side. This game is expected to be a shoot-out and I look to see Cornelius putting up big number today if OKST has any chance to come away with a win.
David Sills, WR, West Virginia ($7,900)
If you know anything about WVU you know that it has a trio of WR in Sills, Jennings and Simms who lead this pack. Of the three Sills has been the most consistent over the past three weeks averaging 5 receptions, 1 TD, and over 50 yards. OKST is not a team this is know for shutting down WR and is middle of the pack in defense. Sills is the number one WR for this team and makes for a perfect stack with Cornelius to have pieces from both sides of this game.
Mid-Tier
Cody White, WR, Michigan State ($5,100)
Last week I wrote up White as our Low tier player and he paid us off with a 22.5 DKP game. This week I’m going right back to him as he is locked in as the leading WR for this MSU team. Again, this week White has a favorable match up with a team that you can attack through the air. It looks that White has jumped right back to where he left off before his foot injury and is rolling, I’d want to jump on him now at his discounted price before he is back up in the 7000 as he should be.
Olamide Zaccheaus, RB, Virginia ($6,000)
Zaccheaus is not a name that we would look to play to often on most slates because he doesn’t do much in the ground game, but on a site that gives us PPR we love guys like this. Olamide is a PPR monster who is used more as a WR with all the receptions he gets in this UV offense. Zaccheaus has yet to find the end zone since his earlier success in the season but with a guy that is getting a floor of 5 targets a game and getting the yards after the catch, he is sure to find his way there again and makes for a great cash game play.
Low- Tier
Dillon Stoner, WR, Oklahoma State ($4,300)
Our bottom of the barrel play this week is Dillon Stoner for Oklahoma State. Dillon is not one of the big names WR that we see every week that we have to pay up for, but he is someone who has steadily been seeing targets in this Cowboy offense and coming off of back to back double DKP games. He only has one TD on the season and that also happens to be his highest scoring day as well. If you are looking for a cheap piece to the highest OU on the slate and possibly this weeks L. Wolf of the past, then Stoner could be your guy.
