Top- Tier
Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma, ($10,800)
Normally I try to refrane from writing up the most expensive QB on the slate but this week that QB is in a OU game of 80, is very consistent, and not to mention this is a rivalry game! Kyler Murray only has 2 games this season where he was held under 30 Dkp and in one of those games he went for 29.6 dkp. Beside getting it done through the air Murray is a duel threat QB who is not afraid to run the ball and steal a TD from his running backs every now and then. Murray should be the chalk of this week but good chalk I wouldn’t mind eating due to this huge total and implied team total for OU. In gpp you could look to pair Murray up with one or both of his top WR in M. Brown and C. Lamb who are coming off some bad outings but looking to bounce back this week.
Tylan Wallace, WR, Oklahoma State ($8,300)
Sticking with the theme of the highest OU on the slate we can look at the other side of the game to Tylan Wallace. Tylan is the number one option for Taylor Cornelius and they seem to have built a better connection coming out of the bye week with back to back games of over 100 receiving yards and a score. If the Cowboys want to keep this game competitive and close, Then Wallace will be looked to early and often and makes for another great stacking option with Murray if you want a complete stack of both sides from this game.
Mid-Tier
Lamical Perine, RB, Florida ($5,400)
Florida is coming off back to back loses but looks to get back on track this week facing South Carolina. South Carolina has a top passing defense on the year but is giving up 180 yards on the ground as well. Florida has struggled the past two weeks to get the run game going due to playing from behind, but this week sets up well for Perine to get back on track with a great matchup and the team looking to run the ball early and often to take pressure off the QB. Perine can occasionally catch 1-2 passes out the back field as well, evident by his break out performance he had in week 7.
James Williams, RB, WSU ($6,900)
On DraftKings one thing we love to look for in RB are backs who catch passes out of the backfield. Let me introduce you to James Williams who is averaging close to 6 receptions a game. When you look at his game logs you may see he does not run the ball all that often as he only has 4 games this season with double digit rushing attempts, but he has numerous games of 4 or more receptions and over the last three weeks he’s coming off of 7,9 and 10 reception weeks! In a pass happy offense with Gardner Minshew leading the way with 3 straight 50 passing attempt games we know the volume for Williams will be there for him and all the WSU receivers.
Low- Tier
Cody White, WR, MSU, 4200
Cody White is a deep GPP salary saver today as he is priced on the low end of the WR spectrum. White was the leading receiver for Michigan state before he went down with a broken hand 4 weeks ago. Last week was his first week back and, on the field, where he had 2 receptions on 5 looks. Before White went down, he was a double digit Dkp production and is looking to get back into that roll. White looks to be the number one option facing a team who you can attack through the air making for a great value option in your gpp lines.
