High-Tier
Jordan Love, QB, Utah State ($10,200)
If you’ve read my DK articles before than you know there is one thing I love for CFB picks and that is a high total game. High total means more chances for a QB to get us TD since they are typically responsible for the flow of the offense for most teams. To kick this bowl off we have Love the highest priced QB in the highest O/U of the day. I can see many paying down from love today as he can be a boom or bust kind of player, but to end the season he seemed to have found some form going for over 20 DKP in 2 of the last 3 games of the season. On the season Love has 28 TD, over 3,00 yards and is averaging 25 DKP.
Eno Benjamin, RB, Arizona State ($8,800)
Is coming off a great sophomore season where he ended the season with 4 out of the last 6 games with over 30 DKP against some good run defensive teams and finished the season with over 20 rushing attempts per game. This is the kind of bell cow work we want in a high-priced running back from a offense who will also be without their top WR for the bowl game. For some extra narrative Eno Benjamin is only 40 yards away from setting the ASU single season rushing record.
Mid-Tier
Jalen Guyton, WR, North Texas ($5,300)
If WR R. Bussey misses tomorrow game, then it will be next man up and we will get J. Guyton at a discount as he steps into a more prime role in this offense for a discount. Guyton has 50 rec, with 702 yards but only 5 TD on the season which is currently 2 less than last season. With the boost he could see with potential targets he has a chance to add onto his TD total for the season and make for a cheap cash option at the WR position.
Justin McMillan, QB, Tulane ($8,200)
McMillan is on the cheaper end of the QB for today and could be a nice ownership leverage play compared to the safer Love or Fine. McMillan came on strong in his last game out connecting on 18 of 29 passes and 3 TD. He is a duel threat QB who can tuck the ball and scramble for a few yards if needed. If you take anything from his last game of the season it is that he finally look to have his connection with his WR and makes for a fine GPP play today.
Low- Tier
Brandon Aiyuk, WR, Arizona State ($4,600)
Aiyuk is a hit or miss player who has only had 2 big games this season, but with Top WR N’Keal Harry expecting to miss the Bowl game he seems to benefit the most. Last time out he had his height DKP for the season with 24 DKP on 5 receptions, 106 yards and a score. This is a pure GPP play as there are still 2 other top receivers on this team and a stud RB, but if looking for a cheap fill in for roaster construction and due to the expected expanded role Aiyuk makes for a great low risk low reward play.
