#16 Utah (-7) vs Arizona State (-110)

Utah -7 at Arizona State is a very intriguing bet. Since dropping two games in a row, the Utah Utes have been one of the hottest teams in America. Winners of four straight by an average of 23.75, two of which were on the road (Stanford, UCLA), a 7 point spread seems more than coverable. In their four game win streak Utah has eclipsed 40 points in each outing, holding their opponents to an average score of 14. Seems as if they clicking on both offense and defense. The Utes average over 31 points per game while only allowing 16.75, which is good for 14th best in the country. QB Tyler Huntley has been playing great, contributing with both his arm and his legs. Huntley has thrown for 1,700 yards, 11 TDs and only 4 INTs. He has also added 4 more TDs on the ground. The QB on the other side of the ball is no slouch either. Manny Wilkins has been impressive and efficient. His stat line is the reason this Sun Devils team 4-4. Throwing for 1,965 yard, a 63.2% completion rate, 12 TDs and only 2 INTs. But he has shown that he can be stopped and slowed down against strong defenses. During his game against Washington he only threw for 104 yards and 0 TDs. Same with their loss to Colorado, Wilkins was held to 222 yards and 1 TD. Not only is Utah coming into this game hot, winning and covering in their last four games. They have covered in four of their last five games against Arizona State. Feel confident in taking the Utes -7 against the Sun Devils.

#14 Penn State at #5 Michigan (-10) (-110)

There is one thing that cannot be argued… Michigan has the #1 defense in the country. Their defense is so dominant, they have held their opponents to less than 100 passing yards in more than half of the games played. Only two games out of the eight they have played, a QB passed for more than 100 yards. In today’s college football where QBs are passing and passing often, this is deadly! Sure the Nittany Lions just pulled of an incredible win against the Iowa Hawkeyes. Sure Trace McSorley is in the Heisman conversation and has been carrying this team this season. There is just something different about this Michigan team in the Big House. In their last seven games in the Big House, Michigan is 6-1 ATS. This Michigan team has scored 12 TDs at while only managing to find the endzone twice on the road. Couple an offense that feeds off the electric crowd with a defense that tops the nation. This could spell disaster for McSorley and the Nittany Lions. In their last five games the Wolverines have been a team that has been covering, covering four of their last five. I fully expect Karan Higdon to run all over this Penn State defense which is allowing 161 rush yards per game.

#6 Georgia (-9.5) at #11 Kentucky (-115)(

Lexington Kentucky will be rocking Saturday afternoon. The Kentucky Wildcats have the opportunity to play for the division lead. This Kentucky team might be one of the most underrated teams in the country. The Wildcats pulled off an amazing upset within the final 2 seconds of the game against Missouri last weekend. They are led by one of the nation’s top runners, Benny Snell Jr. Kentucky +9.5 seems like a very reasonable cover right? I wouldn’t be so fast to lay your money on the Wildcats. This Kentucky team is only averaging 25 points per game, and 14 points per game in their last three games. Although the Wildcats have the 3rd best defense in the country, their offense is not strong enough to keep up with Georgia for 4 quarters. The Bulldogs are coming off a dominate performance against the Florida Gators. Putting up 36 points while holding the Gators to 17. The impressive thing about the Bulldogs performance was them holding Feleipe Franks to 105 yards passing. They are coming into this game at the right time. Additionally, Georgia plays tough on the road. They are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 road games. In their last five against the Wildcats they are 5-0 both ATS and S/U. Just like the Florida game, I expect this game to be close early and Georgia to pull away late.
