Top Plays

Quarterbacks:

CJ Stroud (OSU): DK 9,200

Stroud is off to a hot start this year, and is probably the front runner for the Heisman.  He gets a tasty matchup vs. a Michigan State defense that is one of the worst in college football in defending the pass.  Smith-Njigba is questionable for this game, but they still have weapons all around Stroud.  Look for he and this Buckeye offense to get off to a fast start and cruise to a big win.  Safe play in cash, and still enough upside to consider in GPPS

Hendon Hooker (TENN): DK 8,100

I really like this LSU-Tennessee game, and think it could provide plenty of fantasy goodness for us.  Hooker has been playing really well, and has even started getting mentioned as a Heisman contender. Hooker on the year has thrown for nearly 1200 yards and 8 tds, while also adding in 175 on the ground with 3 touchdowns.  Look for him to use his mobility to get him out of trouble, and if LSU is not spying him, he could have some big chunk runs against this LSU defense.  I really would not be surprised to see Tennessee roll in this one.

Running Backs:

Bijan Robinson (TEX): DK 9,000

Super high price we are going to have to pay for Robinson this weekend, but the matchup he gets, may make paying that price very easy.  Oklahoma ranks nearly last in CFB in rush yards against. On the year Oklahoma is allowing right at 200 rush yards per game.  Look for Texas to force feed Robinson early and often.  Robinson, as explosive as he is running the ball, he is just as good at receiving the ball out of the backfield.  Will Robinson make it 4 straight games with 100+rush yards?  I think he does.

Raheim Sanders (ARK):  DK 6,200

Sanders has ran for 100+ yards in 4 of 5 games this year, and will look to keep his good play rolling this weekend vs. a stingy Mississippi State defense.  KJ Jefferson could be out this week, and if he is, it could make things a little more difficult for Sanders.  However, he is priced right this weekend, and if he continues running the ball as effectively as he has this year he will easily pay off his 6.2k price tag.  If KJ plays this weekend, I see both he and Sanders putting up some strong numbers.

Others to consider:  B. Corum (MICH); X. Valladay (ASU); Q. Judkins (MISS)

Wide Receivers:

Charlie Jones (PUR): DK 7,000

Jones is going to be targeted a ton in this, as he is every week.  This matchup vs. Maryland is much easier than the one that he and the Purdue offense had last week, vs a stingy Minnesota defense.  Jones has one of, if not the safest floors on the entire slate.  I will be locking him into my main lineup this weekend, and love stacking him with O’Connell in gpps.

Others to consider:  J. Hyatt (TENN); J. McMillan (WASH); B. Bowers (UGA); X. Worthy (TEX)
