Top Plays

Quarterbacks:

Garrett Shrader (SYR): DK 6,400

Shrader has been phenomenal to start the year.  He has thrown for nearly 600 yards and ran for over 100.  He is going to give this Boilermakers defense all kinds of problems.  This game is one of my favorites on the slate.  I believe Syracuse will rack up plenty of points here, and wouldn’t be surprised if the high powered Purdue passing game made this a shootout.  Shrader is one of the strongest plays at his position this week due to his level of play and the price point we get him at.  Play him with confidence.

Jalon Daniels (KAN): DK 6,500

Houston has allowed over 340 pass yards per game on the year, setting up nicely for Jalon Daniels and this Kansas passing game.  Daniels is completing 70% of his passes, and averaging right at 200 yards per game.  He is a dual threat guy, that can challenge this Houston defense with his ability to get out of trouble and make something out of nothing.  He is averaging 55 rush yards per game and has a rush TD as well.  While he is not my favorite play in the mid/low 6k range, he is a very solid play at his price.  I do think this game has some shootout potential, making a game stack a possibility.  Both teams have poor defenses.

Others to consider:  D. Gabriel (OU); S. Bennett (UGA); C. Thompson (NEB); A. Reed (WKU); B. Nix (ORE)

Running Backs:

Mohamed Ibrahim (MINN):  DK 9,400

Back to back blowout victories for Minnesota and in both games Ibrahim received 20+ carries.  Minnesota is showing no signs of limiting their stud RB this year, after he suffered a season ending injury last year.  This game should be a tighter than the two previous matchups, thus I can see Ibrahim pushing the carries up to around 25-30.  He is a very efficient runner, averaging 6 ypc.  He already has 4 TD’s on the season, and fully expect him to find the endzone a few times this weekend.  Colorado, through two games, is allowing teams to average over 350 rush yards per game.  Ibrahim is in an absolute smash spot!

Zach Charbonnet (UCLA):  DK 6,300

South Alabama has been pretty stout vs. the run early on this year, but against much lesser competition. I expect they are going to struggle with a very efficient UCLA run game.  I think the threat of DTR running the ball will help open things up for Charbonnet.  I love the price we are getting Charbonnet at, and think he is one of the best RB plays on the slate.

Others to consider:  T. Bigsby (AUB); K. McIntosh (UGA); Z. Evans (MISS); K. Milton (UGA); S. Tucker (SYR); J. Ott (CAL)

Wide Receivers:

Charlie Jones (Purdue): DK 8,000

Jones has been a target monster for Purdue early on, and should continue to thrive in this pass happy offense all season long.  Jones has one of the highest ceilings of any WR on the slate, averaging 15 targets per game.  I think we see a shootout between the Boilermakers and Syracuse, and Jones could be looking at his third straight 100 yard receiving game.  He makes for a great stacking partner with O’Connell or he can be played alone, either way get you some pieces from this game.

Others to consider:  N. Dell (HOU); D. Davis (WKU); T. Palmer (NEB); L. McConkey (UGA); T. Franklin (ORE); C. Camper (IU)
