Top Value Plays
Quarterback
Phil Jurkovec (BC): DK 6,000 FD 7,600
Jurkovec has looked really good in this new BC offense this year. He will be facing a pretty tough Pitt defense, but at his price he comes with a decent floor and high upside. He is a dual-threat quarterback, so we get the bonus of rushing yards and possible rushing touchdowns with him. We just watched NC State have a lot of success against this Pitt defense last week, I can definitely see Jurkovec having success this week as well.
Running Back
Zach Evans (TCU): DK 3,200 FD 4,700
Zach Evans made his debut last weekend vs. Texas and only saw limited action. However, it was reported this week that he would see his snaps increase this week, and is expected to have a much bigger role in the offense going forward. Emari Demercado is listed as questionable, and if he misses this game, Evans could be featured in this game. At near minimum price on both sites, he is a near lock on DK for me and makes for a very strong play on FD.
TJ Pledger (Oklahoma): DK 5,500 FD 7,000
To this date, Pledger has been splitting carries with McGowan pretty evenly. Tonight reports have come out that McGowan may miss this game due to concussion. If this report turns out to be true, Pledger will have a bigger role in the offense this weekend. He will get the opportunity to face a very poor Texas defense, and would make for a very strong play at his price point. I will keep you posted on McGowan’s status for tomorrow, and if he is out Pledger could be played in all formats. This game environment tomorrow is one you will want multiple pieces from.

Wide Receiver
Lavel Davis Jr. (UVA): DK 4,000 FD 6,100
I listed Davis’s teammate, Kemp IV, in my game theory article as a great play, but I would be crazy not to mention Davis Jr. here. He is extremely cheap on both sites and is heavily involved in this offense. In the first game of the season he saw 9 targets from Armstrong, turning them into 4 receptions for 101 yards and 2 touchdowns. When he faced Clemson’s tough defense he still had 2 catches for 58 yards. I love Davis this week, as he has proven to have Armstrong’s trust. Davis can be played in all formats.
Anthony Schwartz (AUB): DK 4,100 FD 6,400
Anthony Schwartz is probably one of the fastest players in the entire country. This kid, if given just a little bit of space, is taking it for a TD every time. As much as AUB struggled vs. UGA last week, Schwartz still had a very solid night. I expect Auburn to find a little more success vs. Arkansas this weekend, and it should afford Schwartz more opportunities for big plays. I have no idea why he is only 4,100 on DK, but that is just to cheap for a player with his role and his ability. Great play this weekend!
