Hello all and welcome to my NFL GPP breakdown for Week 14 of the 2019 NFL season. For those of you who were here last year, we had a ton of success with this article throughout the year and saw a plethora of screenshots throughout the season of MAJOR wins from in cooperating this article into your weekly research and lineup construction. For those of you who are new, welcome, my name is Bob Viafora and I am one of the lead DFS analysts at DFS Karma. I’ve been with DFS Karma for 3+ years now and looking forward to what our team (and you – the reader) is able to accomplish this season. QUARTERBACK :
High Tier: Kirk Cousins ($6700 – DK ) – Kirk Cousins is one of the top projected QB values on the slate and is projected to be in the bottom half of QBs owned. A clear leverage play is getting Cousins into your lineup and fading the highest projected owned player on the slate in Dalvin Cook.
The Vikings are implied for nearly 30 points and if we see the Lions keep this a game, Cousins could post a big game.
Low Tier: Ryan Tannehill ($5800 – DK ) – Tannehill is so cheap and I love pairing him up with AJ Brown and Corey Davis who are extremely cheap as well this week. With all the injuries to the Titans receiving core, we’re going to see the targets go somewhere. Tannehill is top 3 in aDOT over the past four weeks as well. This also provides an opportunity to get leverage off Derrick Henry who should end up as a fairly popular RB option.
Deep Sleeper: Kyler Murray
Running Backs:
High Tier: Alvin Kamara ($7,400 – DK ) – Kamara is going to be in nearly 40% of my lineups. He is projected as the top RB value on the slate by a LARGE margin and is seeing projected ownership as the 5th-6th back on the slate. This is a clear leverage play you NEED to be overexposed to if making multiple GPP lineups.
Low Tier: Kenyan Drake ($5,200 – DK )- Drake’s projected ownership is on the rise since I started my research and analysis of the slate. However, it hasn’t hit over 10% yet and at 5.2k, in this Kliff Kingsbury offense, at home… we could see a scenario where Drake breaks the slate.
Deep Sleeper: Patrick Laird
WIDE RECEIVER:
High Tier: Odell Beckham Jr. ($6,300 – DK ) – I’ve been riding OBJ recently and haven’t really got much to show for it. However, I’m not stopping now and am officially going down with the ship here. 6.3k is just ridiculous given Odell’s ceiling. This is another game in which if the Bengals keep it competitive, OBJ will get another chance to smash. The narrative street is leading me to believe after the recent comments about OBJ’s happiness in Cleveland,,, he’s going to go off.
Low-Tier: Kenny Stills ($3,700 DK ) – I’m riding Stills in my best ball championship team and while everyone is loading up on Hopkins and Watson this week, Stills is projected for 2.5% ownership. It seems a bit ridiculous to me given the total of this game and the popularity of Watson. I’m loading up on Stills this week.
Deep Sleeper: John Brown – revenge game?
TIGHT END:
Noah Fant ($3,400 DK ) – TE is a bit messy again this week where Kittle is banged up, Waller priced appropriately, Doyle a little too expensive for his lower ceiling, Kelce a tough matchup, etc.
Fant is a good guy to punt that really allows you to open up and get those RB1’s this week which I think will be essential. New QB action in Denver could continue to help Fant’s production. The lack of pass-catchers, game script projection, and correlation with a Texans stack just make a lot of sense to me with Fant at TE for just 3.4k.
Deep Sleeper: Ian Thomas
