Hello all and welcome to my NFL GPP breakdown for Week 17 of the 2019 NFL season. For those of you who were here last year, we had a ton of success with this article throughout the year and saw a plethora of screenshots throughout the season of MAJOR wins from in cooperating this article into your weekly research and lineup construction. For those of you who are new, welcome, my name is Bob Viafora and I am one of the lead DFS analysts at DFS Karma. I’ve been with DFS Karma for 3+ years now and looking forward to what our team (and you – the reader) is able to accomplish this season. QUARTERBACK :
High Tier: Dak Prescott ($6300 – DK ) – The Cowboys have everything to play for in this must win game and Vegas is absolutely loving them. Given the total, Dak’s price, projected ownership below 10% and so many different ways to stack him – Dak is one of my favorite GPP plays of the week. I came into the season crushing with Dak and I plan to go out taking down tournaments using Dak.
Low Tier: Baker Mayfield ($5700 – DK ) – The Browns are only playing for pride this week but they’re the type of team to come show out. Given that the two Browns recievers in both Landry and OBJ are projected to be top values PT/$ wise on the slate, I’m surprised the projected ownership on Baker is under 5%. He is someone I definitely am interested in throughout large field GPPs this week.
Deep Sleeper: Jacoby Brissett
Running Backs:
High Tier: Alvin Kamara ($7,800 – DK ) – While Kamara isn’t going to be a super low-owned play, you don’t need to get too weird at RB. When looking at 90th percentile outcomes, there are plenty of scenarios in which Kamara ends up as the highest-scoring player on this slate. He’s the high-tier GPP pivot off of the chalkier CMC and Elliot.
Low Tier: Miles Sanders ($6,800 – DK )- This may be a week where a ton of people try to get cute at RB with all the 2nd stringers getting work in irrelevant games. I’m paying up at the position and Miles Sanders is a player going completely overlooked. This is essentially a must-win game for the Eagles and Sanders has proven he’s the top offensive weapon on the team. He’s going completely overlooked as the star weapon in a game that matters.
Deep Sleeper: Leveon Bell
WIDE RECEIVER:
High Tier: Courtland Sutton ($6,400 – DK ) – The mini megatron has come into his own this season and I think we continue to see that in Week 17 after getting snubbed from the pro bowl I imagine Sutton will try to put on a show for the last game of the season. The total of the game is actually not bad considering its the Broncos and Sutton has put up massive performances with less credit coming from Vegas. He’s projected for under 10% ownership on Draftkings with a MS of the targets over 25%.
Low-Tier: Michael Gallup ($5,400 DK ) – I’m very high on the Cowboys this week and for GPPs I’m rolling with Gallup. There are a ton of different ways to stack the Cowboys with Cobb, Cooper, Gallup, Zeke, and Witten but Gallup has proven to be the most consistent pass-catcher with a ceiling that is near Cooper’s. Feel free to load up on Gallup in single-entry and 3-max tournaments. Cooper may be the better large field play.
Deep Sleeper: Kenny Golladay
TIGHT END:
OJ Howard ($4,300 DK ) – At this point, there is just no one Winston can throw too and Howard is going to get the looks we had all hoped he got throughout the season. The projected ownership is still below 10% and the price is right. This is a fantastic play and one of the best values on the slate when it comes to upside for GPPs.
