Josh Jacobs has seen a massive role in the Oakland Raiders offense over his last four games. Over that span, he’s averaging 108.3 yards and 1.0 touchdown on 22.5 carries per game. He’s also averaging 2.0 receptions for 11.3 yards on 2.5 targets per game over that span. Jacobs gets a great matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. They are giving up 114.1 rushing yards per game. They are also allowing their opponents to average 4.2 yards per carry. Furthermore, Los Angeles has allowed six rushing touchdowns in 2019. Jacobs’ value relies on his ability to find the end zone. He ranks third in the NFL with 29 red zone carries. If he can find the end zone, he’s a great bet for the over tonight.
Mike Badgley is an interesting option. He has only played in one game this season, making four of five field goal attempts. The Chargers are scoring touchdowns on only 46.9% of their red zone opportunities. On the season, Los Angeles has seen their kickers attempt 23 field goals. The only major concern is that Oakland has struggled with their red zone defense. Still, Badgley can score over half the points needed for the over with a 50+ yard field goal. He is a solid kicker, who could see plenty of opportunities in this game.
