Important Notes
The most important note for StatHero is their scoring system. It’s different from what you’re likely used to, and we need to note what the most important aspects are. Quarterbacks are far and away the most important position, specifically passing yards. They get 0.05 fantasy points for every 1 passing yard compared to only 0.1 fantasy points per 1 rushing or receiving yard. For instance, a quarterback would receive 15 fantasy points for 300 yards passing. He would need 3.75 passing touchdowns to reach that. Running backs and receivers would need 1,50 yards to hit that number. They would need 2.5 touchdowns to score 15 fantasy points.
Tight ends are another major part of their scoring. They will receive 1.5 fantasy points per reception, while running backs and wide receivers only receive 1 fantasy point per reception. With StatHero’s current scoring system, it could be a key to stack a team with a dominant quarterback and tight end pairing to go along with the other options on the offense.
The final scoring that could make or break your lineup is the distance bonus. Quarterbacks receive a slightly smaller bonus for long passing touchdowns, while running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends get a bit more of a bonus for touchdowns. Ultimately, you want touchdowns to come from 10+ yards out, which is the distance the bonus’ start at.
Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson/Mark Ingram/Mark Andrews
Lamar Jackson is an incredible fantasy option. He’s averaging 220.6 yards and 2.2 touchdowns on 27.2 pass attempts per game. He’s also averaging a ridiculous 79.6 yards and 0.6 touchdowns on 11.3 carries per game. Jackson gets a tough matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. They are allowing a league-low 136.9 passing yards per game. They have allowed 11 passing touchdowns, while recording 11 interceptions, as well. Still, Jackson is as matchup-proof of a player as there is in the NFL. The Baltimore Ravens are currently -6 point favorites in a game set at 47 points, and they feature one of the higher implied team totals on the slate at 26.5 points.
Mark Ingram has found tremendous success throughout the 2019 season. He’s averaging 70.7 yards and 0.8 touchdowns on 13.7 carries per game. He has also recorded 18 receptions for 169 yards and 3 touchdowns on 20 targets this season. Ingram gets a plus matchup against San Francisco, who is allowing 111.1 rushing yards per game. They are also giving up 4.7 yards per carry this season. With that being said, the 49ers have only allowed five rushing touchdowns in 2019. Between Jackson and Ingram, this play will likely be rewarded with all of the touchdowns this weekend.
Mark Andrews will get the bonus 0.5 PPR FP for being a tight end. He has been a top option in the Baltimore offense, though. Through 11 games, he’s averaging 4.6 receptions for 58.5 yards and 0.6 touchdowns on 6.6 targets per game. Andrews currently ranks third for tight ends in the NFL with 713 air yards to go along with a 9.8 aDOT. He has turned 10 red zone targets into 5 receptions for 48 yards and 5 touchdowns, as well. Andrews is one of the best fantasy tight ends in the NFL, and getting him in this stack is imperative.
Kansas City Chiefs
Patrick Mahomes/Tyreek Hill/Travis Kelce
Patrick Mahomes is averaging 312.0 yards and 2.1 touchdowns on 35.9 pass attempts per game in 2019. His averages are also slightly better than those, as he only threw for 76 yards and 1 touchdown before suffering an injury against the Denver Broncos. Mahomes gets a matchup against the Oakland Raiders, who are allowing 266.8 passing yards per game this season. They have also allowed 26 passing touchdowns, while recording only 8 interceptions. The Kansas City Chiefs are -10 point favorites in a game set at 51 points, and they boast the highest implied team total on the slate at 30.5 points.
Tyreek Hill has only been healthy in five full games this season. In those games, he’s averaging 6.2 receptions for 105.4 yards and 1.0 touchdown on 10.4 targets per game. Overall, Hill has seen 852 air yards in 2019 to go along with a 15.2 aDOT. Surprisingly, he has only seen 4 red zone targets, although he owns 3 receptions for 19 yards and 2 touchdowns on them. He’s expected to be fully healthy this week, making him an elite option in this stack.
Travis Kelce is averaging 5.7 receptions for 75.7 yards and 0.4 touchdowns on 8.3 targets per game this season. He leads tight ends with 839 air yards, while posting a 9.2 aDOT this season. Kelce has also seen 14 red zone targets. He has posted 4 receptions for 12 yards and 1 touchdown on those targets. He gets a bump because of his position, and he’s a must start in a Kansas City stack this weekend.
Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers/Aaron Jones/Davante Adams
Aaron Rodgers is coming off of his worst games of his career against the San Francisco 49ers. Still, he’s averaging 256.5 yards and 1.6 touchdowns on 34.6 pass attempts per game this season. Most importantly, he gets a matchup against the New York Giants. They are allowing 260 passing yards per game in 2019. They have also given up 18 passing touchdowns, while recording 10 interceptions. The Green Bay Packers are -6.5 point favorites in a game set at 45 points, giving them an implied team total of 25.8 points.
Aaron Jones is averaging 57.0 yards and 1.0 touchdown on 13.5 rush attempts per game this season. He has also added 35 receptions for 354 yards and 3 touchdowns on 46 targets in 2019. Jones hasn’t seen many targets since the return to Davante Adams, but Green Bay is at their best when Jones is contributing in the passing game. He gets a matchup against New York, who is allowing 117.5 rushing yards per game in 2019. They have also given up 13 rushing touchdowns this season. Jones comes with elite upside if Green Bay works him back into the passing game plan.
Davante Adams has found success through only 7 games this season. He has posted 46 receptions for 580 yards and 1 touchdown. He has also seen 748 air yards with a 10.8 aDOT. Adams has seen 9 red zone targets through 7 games, posting 6 receptions for 31 yards and 1 touchdown. He has seen 10+ targets in each of his last 4 games, posting 7+ receptions in each game. He’s a focal point of the offense, and makes an elite stacking option with Rodgers on this slate.
