Over Under 2/2 – Washington Redskins/Minnesota Vikings
Kirk Cousins has caught fire recently, as he’s averaging 325.7 passing yards per game over his last 3 contests. He has quite a bit working against him tonight, though. Adam Thielen has been ruled out, and he’s the top receiving option for the Minnesota Vikings. Cousins also gets a tough matchup against his former team – the Washington Redskins. They are allowing only 236 passing yards per game this season. The Vikings are also -17 point favorites in this game. Cousins may not see many second half attempts. The Vikings have made it clear that they aren’t afraid to run the ball for the majority of the game, and that may be the case tonight.
Case Keenum is the exact opposite of Cousins. In his last three starts, he is averaging only 93.3 passing yards per game. With that being said, he was injured against the New York Giants and couldn’t throw the ball against the San Francisco 49ers because of the weather. In his first three games of the season, Keenum averaged a healthy 311 passing yards per game. He gets a matchup against Minnesota, who is only allowing 237.9 passing yards per game, but that’s significantly higher than the total Keenum needs to hit tonight. Washington is also a massive underdog in this game, and their recent run-heavy game plans may not be a possibility tonight. Simply put, this play is a sell high on Cousins combined with a buy low on Keenum.
