Over Under 2/2 – Denver Broncos/Indianapolis Colts
Joe Flacco started the season off well, throwing for 265+ yards in 3 of his first 4 starts. Since then, he has thrown for 572 total yards in 3 games. Flacco gets a matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, who are allowing 250.2 passing yards per game this season. With that being said, four of their six games have come against Deshaun Watson, Patrick Mahomes, Matt Ryan, and Philip Rivers. Flacco recently lost one of his top targets in Emmanuel Sanders, and their offense will become significantly more concentrated. While he has flashed upside at times this season, there’s very little reason to believe Flacco will find success in this game.
Jacoby Brissett has relied more heavily on touchdowns than yards this season, as he’s only averaging 231.3 passing yards per game through 6 starts. He has also thrown for fewer than 200 yards in 3 starts this season. Brissett now gets a terrible matchup against the Denver Broncos, who are allowing onyl 195.3 passing yards per game. They also lead the league with only 9.8 yards allowed per completion. This game will likely become a defensive battle with each offense looking to control the clock with their rushing attacks.
