Over/Under 2/2 – Washington Redskins/New York Giants
Daniel Jones took the NFL by storm last week, throwing for 336 yards on 36 pass attempts. After finding success in the preseason and his first NFL game, it’s fair to assume Jones could find more success, specifically from a yards standpoint. He gets a plus matchup against the Washington Redskins, who are allowing 260.7 passing yards per game this season. Their opponents also haven’t been forced to throw against them, as their games haven’t been as close as this one projects to be. Jones should see 30+ pass attempts again this week, and he could find success against a sub-par pass defense. While Case Keenum isn’t a good quarterback, that hasn’t mattered this season. He has thrown for more than 330 yards in two of his three starts. He now gets a matchup against the New York Giants, who are allowing a league-high 332.3 passing yards per game in 2019. Keenum has attempted at least 37 passes in each of his three games, and this week could be the same. Neither team owns a standout defense, and this game could quickly turn into a shootout. Jones comes with more risk than Keenum, but both of these totals are a bit too low.
