Over/Under 2/2 – Baltimore Ravens/Kansas City Chiefs
Patrick Mahomes has looked relatively unstoppable once again this season, posting 378 and 443 passing yards in his first two games this season. Most importantly, the Kansas City Chiefs won those games by 18 and 14 points. This game is likely to be a bit closer, meaning Mahomes could see a few extra attempts this week. The Baltimore Ravens possess a solid defense, but Mahomes is truly as close to matchup proof as their is in the NFL. Lamar Jackson has improved his passing significantly in 2019, as he has thrown for 324 and 272 yards against the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals. While those aren’t overly difficult matchups, neither is his matchup against Kansas City this weekend. Their defense is far from dominant, and their ability to score points in a hurry will give Jackson more opportunities in this game. I expect this game to somewhat quickly turn into a shootout between two of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL. If that’s the case, both of these players are likely to hit their overs with relative ease.
