What’s up guys! What an amazing article yesterday huh? If you read it, you likely took down GPPs, as my GPP teams OMG/DYN paired with TES (all formats) all scored really well. Personally, I was a 2v2 away from taking down the main GPP on FanDuel. Super close! Anyways, let’s get onto today’s slate, probably one of the best we’ve had all split.

CASH

DRX -1800 vs SB

DRX should be the cash staple for you across both sites tonight. The LCK as a whole has seen faster paced games with more engagements and kills, adopting more of an LPL type of approach to their game play. DRX is the only team I can really say that will win 2-0 tonight, and they are projected the highest on Sam’s Data Dashboard, which you can find in our Premium Discord Channel. In addition, DRX has the second highest implied kill total on the slate behind FPX, which I will get into in a little bit, at 29.0 kills. On top of that, SB has the WORST statistical numbers in the league in multiple categories, which include GD @15, down a whopping 4.1k gold on average at 15 mins. My league players know how absurd that is! Overall, lock in 3+ DRX players tonight, for cash games especially on FanDuel where they are extremely underpriced.

RNG -245 vs V5

I think today is the day where the hype for V5 starts to die down. They get to face RNG today, then FPX, and then Estar after that. I wouldn’t be surprised for them to get swept in all 3 series. Lets go over some things before we get into RNG. V5 have looked surprisingly really good, but their matchups have been relatively beatable. They played VG, who have looked pretty out of sync, they played BLG (second to worst team imo), who took a game off of them, LGD, who they lost to, OMG, who have been a beatable, middle of the pack team, and DMO, who are the v5 of the last split. The only impressive thing I can say about all these wins are that they were able to take a game off of LGD and beat OMG, the only two legit teams I can see being in the playoff hunt, out of all the teams they’ve faced/played. Don’t get me wrong, the play out of their bot lane with SamD and PPGOD has been really strong, but I don’t think they’ll be able to get a 1.1k GD @15 mins like they’ve been averaging over their games so far, especially to their carries. RNG have finally figured it out and I’m liking how they face adversity and make in game adjustments. RNG should likely win this one 2-0, but I wouldn’t rule out a 2-1 victory as well. They’ve had great objective control and have won every game they should have based on drafts. Prioritize Xiaohu, Betty/Ming. 

GPP

FPX -210 vs IG

This should be an enticing matchup. I love both these teams, IG has looked really good after finally finding out how to draft to their advantages and not just going for their comfort picks. FPX on the other hand has tried out some interesting draft comps but when it comes to games they need to absolutely win they don’t mess around, such as a series tied 1-1 or a series down 0-1. They usually go for a different draft comp when they are up 1-0, but today I think they want to show that they are the superior team and keep IG winless against them with the current lineup they have with Ning at jungle. Going back to the third place matchup of the Spring Split FPX swept IG 3-0 with Ning starting at Jungle, and even though we should take it with a grain of salt, I’m sure FPX has prepared for this matchup with all that time off. IG overcame a 0-1 deficit vs EDG with a great performance and I could see this one going 3 games once again. IG has gone for the later game scaling with objective control which is a different approach from what we saw last split and earlier in this split. This should turn out to be a bloody series and as of now I will have FPX exposure OVER IG exposure in GPPs. Prioritize DoinB, Khan, LWX. TheShy has been feeding, but turned it around in the last two games vs EDG. If FPX try to take advantage of TheShy over stepping, they can get Khan/Tian ahead early.

*Special Note- I like GenG to win 2-1 today, but I am not a fan of them for fantasy purposes.

SB (+850) vs DRX

Do not play SB today. They have so many things to figure out and don’t find themselves in a favorable matchup anywhere on the rift.
