What’s up guys, had a nice win yesterday just stacking both sides of the IG/LGD game with JDG in everything. Tonight we get a super nice 4 game slate with TES being the only team I see winning 2-0. We are gonna be having a different approach to the slate, as we won’t be having a game by game breakdown anymore, but rather diving into teams and labeling them CASH, GPP and FADE. Let’s get right into it.
CASH
TOP ESPORTS -1200 vs BLG
They should be your number 1 cash team tonight- they are the heaviest favorites, the best in the league at the moment, and are playing a weak team. They should dominate BLG in every lane, and this should be an easy 2-0 win. They have looked pretty dominant, which is why I want to bring up the fact that it could be a quicker series. However, I’m still going to lock them into every one of my lineups, they have the safest floor and highest upside if they want to play around with their food a little bit. I think we have to lock them in cash games. The entire team is in play here, I really like Knight, Karsa, and JackeyLove if only picking 3.
GPP
OMG +185 vs LNG
This is a very interesting game. LNG has surprised some with some wins vs RNG and FPX. However I am not convinced that they can show that they are a team worthy of the playoffs. They’ve won based on clumsy play by RNG and FPX, and LNG like to draft a late scaling team comp. The way OMG has played recently, they’ve prioritized the early game which is very different to what we saw last split. Because of this, I think that OMG will get ahead early, and carry it onto the mid game. It is how they close out the game and execute the 5v5 team fights towards the end of the game, that’s what will make or break this game. This is def a tough game to call, but I will have to go with OMG 2-1. I do not mind hedging LNG since they might have a really bloody win (second most kills in wins so far in this split on the slate).
OMG side: Curse, icon, cold (extremely underpriced on FanDuel)
LNG side: Xx, Maple, Light
DYN -125 vs APK (SP)
LCK has looked actually really fun to watch this split so far, they’ve played with more aggression and have tried to adopt the playstyle of some LPL squads. DYN has looked pretty solid in their two games so far, beating a raggedy KT team, and putting up a great fight vs AF. APK got swept by DWG and barely put up a fight, but DWG is a very solid team in their own right. This should be another 2-1 series, in favor of DYN. APK (SP) should start to trend up as they get Mickey integrated with their squad, but I think DYN’s chemistry (they only have 5 players on the team) along with their advantages in the top lane, RH% and vision, will lead them to a victory here, to show that they belong and they can beat these mid tier teams. The team works really well together and Kuzan/Rich have the highest upside at their price point to me.

FADE
BLG (+1200) vs TES
I wouldn’t touch them today. I know some people like to play the “upset team” when the odds are like this but TES is on another level and BLG is way behind with their talent. I wouldn’t even touch them in MME gpps, maybe 1 out of 150 lineups you can have a BLG stack. Overall, I just don’t see them producing enough even if they take one game from TES.
