I will also provide a chart displaying what teams I am targeting, and for what type of contest. Slate Thoughts:
On tonight’s slate, I believe DK should be a big part of your cash lineups. They are taking on DRX tonight, and come into the matchup as the slates biggest favorite at -1600. DK also come in with the second highest projected kill total. I really like getting to them in cash tonight, and could see getting some exposure in gpp’s, however they will mainly be my short stack in gpp builds.
EDG are probably one of my top teams on the slate for GPP’s. They find their selves in a favorable matchup vs. team WE. EDG have proven that they are one of, if not the best, teams in the entire world. Team WE are definately capable of upsetting EDG, especially with how crazy this split has been. However, with the overall team talent of EDG and the way they have been playing I see them taking this series and posting some BIG kill totals in the process. At this very moment, I have EDG paired with DK in my main build. I really like the upside of EDG in this series. If you want to take a shot, and take advantage of some extremely low ownership, you could get some exposure to WE here. I, however, will not have any WE exposure tonight, and will be extremely heavy on EDG.
The next matchup that could produce some fire works tonight is the JDG/RNG series. Both of these teams are coming into this matchup on completely different runs. RNG have swept their last 5 opponents, while JDG have lost their last two series via sweeps. JDG are much better than the way they have played over their last two series, so this may be a good buy low spot on them. RNG, however, have really started to look like the dominant RNG team that we watched last split. I like getting to both sides here. I expect that the winner of this series could end up being the highest scoring team on this slate. I believe Kanavi is the obvious starting point in any JDG build, while Xiaohu and Cryin are good starting points in RNG builds.
