Slate Thoughts:
It appears that we have a pretty straight forward slate tonight in regards to cash games. I believe you lock either LNG or EDG for you main cash lineup and roll on. Both of these teams come in as huge favorites. LNG is a -900 favorite vs. UP and EDG is -1800 favorites vs. TT. I lean towards EDG because they are one of, if not the best, teams in the LPL. They also come in with they highest kill projection of any team on the slate. With EDG being my main team for cash games tonight, I will make sure to have plenty of exposure to LNG in GPP’s. It would be great if you could pair LNG and EDG together in cash games, but due to price it is almost impossible to make a combo without really punting the team spot.
For my secondary stack in cash games I will look to pair Damwon with EDG. Damwon come priced reasonably tonight on both DK and Fanduel and make for a solid pairing in cash games. HLE are a live dog here, as they have already beat Damwon once this split, however, Damwon are playing really well right now and have wins over Gen and LSB over the last week. I look for them to continue this really strong play right now and win this series.
Now the best series of the slate, and that is RNG vs. IG. IG have TheShy back in the top lane tonight, and look to rebound after a horrible loss to Rogue warriors. RNG are coming into this series off of a sweep vs. LGD. I believe that we are going to see RNG finish out this split very strong. They are one of, if not the most, talented teams in the LPL, and hopefully will finally start playing like it. I believe the winner of this series will be optimal. IG are a team that seem to just show up against really good teams, and just don’t try against the worst teams. So if that holds true here, we should se IG’s best here. With that said, I have RNG winning this series 2-1. I will definitely get some exposure to IG here, because if they are to pull off the upset here they will most certainly be one optimal.
My predictions for tonight are as follows:
DK win 2-1; LNG win 2-0; EDG win 2-0; KT win 2-1; RNG win 2-1
