Slate Thoughts:
Anything goes on tonight’s slate. I feel that just about every team on the slate is viable in tournaments. However, there is one team that stands out above the rest for me tonight, and that team is JDG. JDG come in to the night as the heaviest favorites on the slate, and also come in with the highest projected kill total on the slate. JDG will be the team that I build my main lineup around. They average 20 kills in their wins, while their opponent, LGD, average over 20 deaths per loss. This sets up to be one of the best fantasy relevant plays on the night. With all of that said, as much as I like JDG, I will still get some exposure to LGD because of the upside they present if they are able to upset JDG. JDG average over 20 deaths per loss as well, making LGD an extremely high upside play tonight.
Another team that I like tonight is T1. T1 makes for a very solid/safe play tonight vs. LSB. They are -500 favorites tonight, and should have no problem winning their match vs. LSB tonight, and doing so in only two games. T1 do not come with nearly the upside as JDG, but are a bit safer. If you want safety, and a decent floor, T1 is your cash team, but like I mentioned above, I will take on a little more risk with JDG so I can get the upside they come with. Either way, I like both of T1 and JDG tonight, and believe they both take care of business.
RNG is a team I love to play on any slate they are on, especially when I believe they are going overlooked. RNG come in a bit underpriced on DK tonight as well. I believe RNG bounces back after their inexcusable loss to OMG just a few nights ago. RNG were one of the best teams in the LPL during the spring split, and proved to be dominant at the MSI as well. RNG should have fairly low ownership tonight with most people focusing on the likes of JDG, T1, Sunning and BLG. I think this is a good time to jump on that RNG train. If you wanted to stick with LNG here and keep riding that hot streak they are on, I totally understand that. However, I am fully aboard the RNG train and I believe they remind everyone how good they are tonight. GALA, WEI and Xiaohu are the top plays I would target from this RNG squad.
