Slate Thoughts:
- We have a 5 game slate on our hands tonight, a nice change from the 2 and 4 game slates we have had all split. We have two huge favorites playing tonight in GenG and IG. GenG will face off against SP, who are one of, if not the worst teams in the LCK. GenG lead SP in all statistical categories, and are on fire right now. I expect GenG to make quick work out of SP and sweep them. Normally with a spread like this in the LCK, I would say that I don’t think that the winning team will be able to pay off their prices because they will breeze through their opponent to fast. However, that is not the case with GenG. I expect GenG to rack up lots of kills in this match-up, as they are projected for the 2nd most kills on the slate. Ruler, Bdd and Rascal would be the ones I start my cash builds with.
- The next big favorite, that I like in all formats tonight, is IG. IG are squaring off against OMG tonight in what should amount to a blood bath. Just a couple series ago, IG beat TES to a pulp. They are on absolute fire right now and OMG will have no way to slow this momentum down. I love pairing GenG and IG in cash games, though it will be really tough with the way they are priced. You may need to look and pair them with another team for cash. IG are projected for the most kills on the slate. I fully expect IG to sweep OMG, and put up very impressive kill totals.
- Rogue Warriors are the team that I am most excited about targeting. They are scrappy and they love to fight, which plays out well for us in terms of fantasy. They are led by Haro, Zwuji and Wuming. I expect some high kill totals out of RW tonight, and expect them to win this series vs. LNG 2-1, though a sweep is not out of the question. Rogue Warriors lead LNG in DRA%, HER% and GPM. If you are looking for some leverage, you could play LNG tonight, who will be very low owned, and hope that all of the fights that RW are going to try and force backfire on them and LNG come out on the good side of some of these team fights. RW top the price list, which makes it somewhat difficult constructing lineups around them. You cannot deny their upside tonight though!
