Slate Thoughts:
- DWG are locks for cash games tonight. They will be squaring off vs. HLE who rank near dead last in just about every metric. They die a lot, and I not only think DWG are lock for cash games, I think they are viable in tournaments as well. This should be a 2-0 sweep, but I am a firm believer that DWG will be able to pile up plenty of kills before this is all said and done. ShowMaker is where I would start my DWG stacks. EDG will be the other team I will pair with DWG in cash games. EDG will be facing off against Rogue Warriors, and well they also die a lot. They lead the LPL in deaths per game, averaging nearly 20 deaths per game. RW also rank dead last in gold differential @ 15 minutes. I also see this match-up ending in a EDG sweep! Scout and Hope are my priorities from EDG.
- Team Dynamics will be facing off vs. a poor Sandbox Gaming squad. Team Dynamics is the newcomer to the LCK and have had somewhat decent success up to this point and I expect it to continue tonight. DYN lead SB in gold differential @ 15 minutes, Kills per game, DRA%, and HER%. I believe DYN have good upside for tournaments tonight, as SB lead the LCK in deaths per game.
- The next two teams I will have shares of are JDG and IG. They will be squaring off vs one another tonight. JDG dropped their match-up vs TES, who are the top team in the LPL, by getting swept. They’ve not looked great vs top teams this split so far, so that gives me a little hesitation tonight as they face IG, who are a very respectable squad. I expect this game to be high scoring in terms of fantasy, and wouldn’t be surprised if the top scoring stack of the night comes from this series. JDG are second in the LPL in kills per game. I like JDG to come out on top 2-1, and love Kanavi and Zoom. On the IG side I like Rookie and Puff.
