Slate Thoughts:
- Tonight’s slate is a pretty ugly slate for cash games. I do think this slate sets up really well for tournaments. We have lots of close match-ups tonight that could honestly go either way. If you are playing cash tonight, I would start my cash builds with T1. T1 is one of the best teams in the LCK and will be facing KT, who are not a very good squad. T1 are led by Teddy, Faker and Canna. I do not expect this to be a very up tempo match-up. Play T1 in cash games, and on this particular slate, where there are not tons of up tempo series they make for an ok target in tournaments.
- RNG will be the team I look to pair with T1 in cash games. RNG will be facing a poor DMO squad that has looked absolutely awful this split. RNG have not been world beaters themselves, but are definitely a more talented team overall and should not have much of an issue with DMO. I could see DMO taking a game in this series, but I do not see RNG dropping this series. XLB, Xiaohu and New are my top targets from this RNG squad. You can play RNG in all formats tonight.
- Finally I will be looking to target the VG vs LGD match-up. This series is a true coin toss, and could go either way. I expect it to be bloodier than the T1 series. VG should end up with higher ownership, due to their low prices. With VG garnering higher ownership, LGD should present nice leverage. LGD has just as much upside as anyone on this slate. If targeting VG I would start with Zeka and iBoy. If playing LGD I would target Peanut and Kramer.
